Poor Bedside Manners
After waiting nine hours in unbearable endometrial pain saw this curt provider who treated me as if I was someone suffering with opoid addiction needing a fix. It was clearly marked in my chart at UCLA that I had chronic conditions and had not filled an opoid prescription for a year and a half. Dr. Weingrow thought his only function was to “addess life threatening conditions” but the reality is with extreme pain and no options, ER physicians should be equipped to appropriately assess pain. Endometrial pain is often overlooked by providers and I hope Dr. Weingrow can use this review to improve himself as a provider so he may leave patients cared for and not traumatized.
