Dr. Daniel Warburton, MD

I have been passing large kidney stones at an average of 2 per month for around the last 2 years. I have physically presented this man several specimens and he has even performed two procedures on me. I would like to think most urologists would have sympathy for any patient passing any kidney stones the size and frequency of mine, but this man tends to downplay everything. For example, he never says the word "pain," but rather "slight discomfort." Trust me, anyone who passes even a small kidney stone will tell you that it's beyond painful, let alone when they average 5 millimeters. I've endured this process enough times to know when I am about to pass one. I also realize there's basically nothing that can be done about it. However, I feel it should be the doctor's responsibility to make things as easy as possible for the patient. That means refusing to prescribe pain relief for a patient who you know has this issue is downright unacceptable and borderline neglect.
