Dr. Stout has provided my gastroenterology health needs for almost 25 years. He and his staff have always treated me with great respect and professionalism. Dr. Stout's attention to my Barrett's condition having progressed to a pre-cancerous stage and his recommendation to have preventative treatments has kept my esophageal health normal. I am very grateful for Dr. Stout's medical skills and caring for my health. Couldn't be happier with the care I have received from Dr. Stout and his staff.

Not someone you should ever trust with your health
The office was perfectly nice, full of good staff. But, this doctor is just the worst. He's rude and crotchity. He shouldn't be given anyone's hard earned money. He doesn't listen well and is only trying to do as many proceedures as he can. I dislike him on every point.

Positive experiences for endoscopy & colonoscopy
I have seen Dr Stout for over 20 years and have had very positive experiences with 3-4 endoscopies and 2 colonoscopies. His staff is well-trained and professional. He has always thoroughly explained procedures, reviewed results with me, answered my questions, and made recommendations for medicines and diet that have helped my GERD condition. I would even say they have GREAT customer/patient service. I have never been a fan of the anesthesia used for outpatient procedures, so I asked that none be used. Dr Stout expressed concerns for my experience, but agreed. (Colonoscopies are easy…but endoscopies are a different story). I can tell not using anesthesia makes performing the procedures (ie endoscopy) more difficult for them, but they are always accommodating & never complain. I recommend Dr Stout / Digestive Health to all of my friends. (I do not know Dr Stout personally and share this opinion only based on my patient experiences)

I went today to have an Upper GI and Dr Stout, his nurse and office assistant was all so professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I have gerd, LPR along with a hernia. I have been going here for several years and have had nothing but the most upmost respect for this office.

The people in this office are friendly, helpful and efficient. Dr. Stout was thorough and very nice. The procedure was easy to schedule, the directions were thorough, the office was easy to get to , and it was quick and easy to get into the procedure. He and his staff reviewed his findings and follow up directions. It was much easier than going to a hospital or large procedure center. The self pay cost was very reasonable.

After a discussion with Dr. Stout about fearing gagging and being extremely claustrophobic, he started the scope before I was under! I can still hear myself choking and gagging! I do have Barrett’s esophagus but will never let this doctor near me again! My throat was extremely sore after the procedure.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. No pain. Conscious sedation was like being asleep, which is what I wanted, and I have no memory of the procedure. I was very comfortable and well cared for.

Still to this day angry and upset that he did not use enough anesthesia to stop ANY pain. I was oh so very conscious during my colonoscopy that I fought with him during the whole exam. I recommend him to no living or dead person as he is not humane.

Dr, Stout had taken care of my Sister, Mother, Father and now is crossing to my generation and is taking care of my wife and me. I have been diagnosed with Barretts Esophagus so he keeps close attention to me. I also had polyps the first visit (about 15 years ago). He ,most recently cared for my wife after suffering Colitis (Ischemic) three times in 6 months. Not getting any info from Community GI doctors, we went to Dr. Stout. He has been the best ever. His staff cares too. Thank You!

I went to Dr Stout when I was in desperate need of help with what was clearly a bad gallbladder and after testing that come back abnormal, he refused to listen to me as his patient and told me there was nothing he could do for me! I have never had a doctor with such disregard for his patient! Would not refer me on and told me I could take Tylenol for the pain, nausea and sickness I was experiencing!

It’s been years and I am still upset and traumatized by not being put out for my colonoscopy like I was supposed to be. He called it conscious sedation, but there was no sedation. We argued and I screamed in pain during the whole procedure. Do not go to Dr.Stout unless you like being awake for painful procedures.

I have been seeing Dr. Stout for the last 30 years. I once tried another gastroenterologist and did not have a good experience. Needless to say, I went back to Dr. Stout. He listens, answers all my questions and is very thorough. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Just received a colonoscopy from Dr Stout and would highly recommend him. He and his staff were all professional and courteous. He took time to talk to me before the procedure and upon learning anesthesia sometimes makes me nauseous changed the "mix" - no nausia whatsoever. Procedure was painless. Would definitely go back to him.

My husband and I each had a colonoscopy & an endoscopy for acid reflux/dysphagia (swallowing difficulty). All procedures were professionally administered & easy with no problems. A polyp was removed from my husband's colon with recommended follow up in 5 years. Procedures for acid reflux resulted in improved swallowing ability & medication for acid reflux with future follow-up procedure for me. Dr. Stout is professional & efficient. Highly recommend this doctor & his superb staff.

Doctor will only recommend those procedures that he can do in office. Office Staff, especially the one at front desk who signs up patients don't have any patience and Not at all friendly. Staff don't like us calling them about test results.
