Scamer Dr. And Sttuf
This doctor did not listen to my symptoms and rushed to diagnose. After 5 visits I still had the same problem, and he told me I was fine and I should schedule my next appointment for three months later. My family doctor diagnosed my problem and I will never return.

TERRIBLE Office
TERRIBLE Experience. AVOID this DR. Office while you can. As a new patient I arrived at the facility on time. upon checking me in the receptionist provided me with paper forms, then electronic tablet to sign forms, then she asked for drivers license. After all the forms filling I was then asked to wait. After 50 minutes of waiting I asked how long do I have to wait. I was informed by her since you came in 'LATE' you have to wait there is still another patient in front of you. I stated that I arrived on time before my scheduled appointment. The office was empty when I arrived all these patients arrived after I was here. 'I was told 10 minutes early arrival is not considered by their office as early'. There was NO Courtesy, NO empathy, No consideration that I had taken time off from my office to be there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR. OFFICE to anyone. TERRIBLE Experience. GO somewhere else where they actually care for their patients.

Supported a Traumatized Patient
Dr. Sherer did for me what only great doctors do for patients. Dr. Sherer looked me in the eyes without a moment of movement as I held back my tears. Dr. Sherer's unwavering eye contact continued until I finished telling him about the recent medical trauma I suffered overseas and the resulting follow-up medical work here at home. I saw the doctor for a skin rash which quite likely was related to the trauma, but the visit became much more than that. Dr. Sherer's unspoken yet so supportive action during those moments has now become a meaningful part of my healing process. I will be forever grateful.

I contacted Dr. Sherer’s office for a free cosmetic consultation. I was told it was a free consultation and there would be no charge. I made the appointment. The day before the appointment I was contacted to confirm the appointment and I verified again that it was a free consultation. The day of the appointment when I checked in they asked for my insurance card and I provided it because I had new insurance and they are my dermatologist as well but I told the receptionist that I was told I would not be billed under insurance because it is a free consultation. They then called me in for the consultation. Then as I was leaving they told me that I had a $60 co-pay. I explained that I confirmed three times that it was a free consultation. Do not use this doctor!! They are dishonest. Unacceptable. I will never recommend or use this practice.

I was unable to get an appt. with Dr. Sherer. Met with his P.A. She was lovely and removed a growth that I had on my leg. For some unknown reason no one got back to me with the results. (it took 5 weeks) When I finally was able reach someone in the office and not an answering machine, they left a message for someone to call me back. The P.A. called me back with news that I would need additional surgery and scheduled me for a week later. I asked why on earth it took 5 weeks to get these glum results to me, all I got was I'm sorry. Not to happy with this office!

I found Dr. Sherer and staff to be very warm, professional, receptive and pro-active in both communication and action. Went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the biopsy procedure and even researched what my out of pocket cost would be so there were no surprises. How thoughtful is that!? Great experience, I wish all doctors offices worked the way these guys do!

All this doctor wants is to sell his own products. My skin has always been good and after using his cream I break out in dry spots. I finally get in to see him after waiting one week. He makes me wait 40 minutes and then looks at my skin for 5 seconds and says it is just irritation, keep using the cream but not on that spot. I tell him I have never had issues with my skin until I started using his cream, I am not comfortable using his cream any longer and I want my $82 back. He says no!!!!

A competent & knowledgeable physician, although I'm not a fan of the various cosmetic (non-medical) services that seem to take up a large portion of his practice. However, his staff's rigid application of an office policy requiring all patients to repetitively complete a series of standard patient information forms annually, regardless of whether any of the information has changed, has forced me to change doctors. No other physician of whom I am a patient has such a time-wasting requirement.

very poor doctor, all they want is to keep you coming back, they collect deductables when they are not suppose to. when you call for a presciption refill it's like pulling to teeth to get it done. they dont care if you go to school or work out of state they want you to come in to charge the insurance for the visit. i think having to come in every 3 month's so they can spend 5 minutes with you and tell you the same thing over and over again is a bit much. i would not recomend them

I highly recommend Dr. Sherer- best Botox results ever! Previously had it done by every top doc in NYC for past 15+ years; started going to Dr Sherer in 2015 after seeing my friend’s fabulous results. I’ve never looked better and will never trust anyone else for Botox. I never imagined I could look so NATURALLY youthful! I’m so grateful I found him!

This was my first visit to Dr. Sherer and I went for a yearly skin check-up. He checked me (rather quickly) but my last doctor had a body chart and noted every skin mark so that he had a record for future check ups should the marks change. My old doctor doesn't take my new insurance but I feel he was a lot more thorough.
