Finally pain relief, after 26 years!
Since my first back injury in 1996, this is the first time I have had actual, real pain relief. Dr. Ryklin and the entire staff at Arizona Pain & Spine Institute are true professionals and make the process go very smoothly. Although they are a very busy practice, they are still very thorough and efficient, while still listening to the needs and input from the patient. From my experience as a nurse myself, I know this is not always the case. They are very open minded to a wide variety of treatment options. I greatly appreciate that! After my initial consult with Dr. Ryklin it was determined that I would try trigger point injections for my upper back pain and a more involved lumbar injection procedure for my lower back (that required an MRI that was done for $300. at Simon Med). The staff and Dr. took great care to find affordable imaging for the MRI since my insurance had lapsed. I appreciate that they do that. Those treatment has been a game changer for me. I got my life back!

Very nice & spent time during the initial appointment explains my options however he does not see patients after the initial appointment unless during a procedure (which allows zero time to speak w/him other than 30 secs of sm. chat). Follow ups are done by the PA whom usually are too busy to even sit down & appt are 1-2 months out. The office is ran by approx 30 alpha MA’s; they do not communicate with each other & are very nice until You take up too much time which disrupts their timeline.
