Dr. Daniel Puneky, MD

I’ve been seeking Dr Puneky since October 2021. He is fantastic. He was out of the country when he called me to give me my well anticipated diagnosis after many test. What was amazing is that he didn’t make me wait or have another physician call me. Thanks to him that I was able to make arrangements to see the physician specialist that I needed right away. He answers all of my questions and is a great listener. He always answers my chart questions in a timely manner. Thanks to him for being so caring about my health. The Office staff and nurses are super fantastic as well.

It’s hard to find a doctor who will listen. He does. I am elderly, and I don’t get dismissed like what often happens to people my age when seeing doctors.

- Pleasant, professional, personable - Clean office, easy check-in, short wait time - Patient portal for results, mobile/web booking, dr/patient messaging system I've been seeing Dr. P for almost two years now, and he's always great to see! Everyone at the UCLA Health office in BH has been super friendly. Each nurse, PA, Dr, or staff member I've interacted with has been kind and generally easy to talk to. Everyone answers any questions I might ask, and the medical staff and Dr. P always do a great job at going over what they're doing, checking for, and their thought process. My visits have always been quick, with little hassle. I feel like the level of care I've been given has been exceptional, with exams, visits, labs, tests, and the like always feeling thorough, well-explained, and everything gets covered when I have questions.

Thorough, patient, and extremely knowledgeable.

I used to see Dr. Puneky for my physicals, and he completely ignores his patients and makes you feel like a nameless number he just has to push through his practice. My last physical I had real issues to discuss, and he ignored them all. He responded to my inquiries by telling me to do things I had already told him I did, multiple times. I could not have been more explicit. Eventually he didn't respond to my message asking for next steps AT ALL. Literally ignored. At best he wasn't paying attention, and at worst he was negligently apathetic. Either way, feeling heard by your doctor is the bare minimum you can ask for, and we PAY them. He failed on all accounts. Seek care elsewhere from someone that won't waste your time and money.

I have been a patient of Dr. Puneky for almost two years now. He has been fantastic. His visits are thorough, he is incredibly responsive via MyChart between visits and his team at the office are super. He cares about my health and is committed to me living the best possible life. We talk nutrition, holistic approaches and he also cares about my mental well-being. I am a tremendous fan of Dr. Puneky and encourage others to visit him and his awesome team!

Dr. Puneky was very professional and kind. I left his office feeling like I was in good hands. Later, I had a question and messaged him through the UCLA Health portal and he replied within ten minutes. Having that kind of doctor-patient care is a gift. I highly recommend him.

Very impressive physician; Friendly office staff and friendly medical assistant(s); clean office. Really feel my health is on track with this doc.
