Dr. Daniel Petersen, DDS

On February 4, 2025, we contacted Market West Dental Group to arrange for our daughter’s wisdom teeth removal and provided her X-rays at that time. The surgery was scheduled for Friday, April 4, and we informed the office that our daughter would be traveling approximately 5.5 hours from college specifically for this appointment so I confirmed it 8 times.Unfortunately, we were notified just five minutes before leaving for the appointment that the surgery could not be performed because Dr. DANIEL PETERSEN had reviewed her X-rays only that same morning. This last-minute cancellation caused significant disruption and financial loss for our family of about $1000. As a result, our daughter will now need to repeat this entire process with a new oral surgeon, incurring additional travel and time off work and school. He does not have a phone number to contact him and he won't respond to our emails. He is refusing to take responsibility for his mistake.

After months of waiting and enduring pain, my daughter traveled six hours round trip from college to have oral surgery, only to have Dr. Peterson cancel the procedure shortly before it was scheduled because he deemed it too complex for him to perform.This is irresponsible and a medical professional on my opinion. It's also disrespectful of the financial resources of a college student and the time out of class, off work, Etc.Seems like a blatant disregard for patients when the chert review happens this close to the surgery.

The visit, appointment and treatment was fantastic. I have had two procedures there and both times the experience was wonderful. The staff is friendly and more than willing to explain and answer any questions I had. I would easily recommend Riverside OS for any treatment you may have.

Dr Petersen and his staff are absolutely amazing. Everyone in that office make you feel at ease. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Dr Petersen is a compassionate, always a smile on his face and is genuinely interested in your well being. I’m very pleased and happy t chose him to have him do implants on my bottom teeth. I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy it all was. I have pain tonight but that is to be expected. Nothing major just what you have to expect. If you are thinking of getting implants or need an oral surgeonfor something else, Go See Him. I will guarantee you will be so pleased you chose him and his staff.

Dr. Petersen is fantastic! He is very calming and performs in an exemplary manner. His staff is also fantastic and make you feel welcome! He is one of the best dentists I have seen in my life!

Dr. Petersen has done 3 implants on me and also pulled my Son's wisdom teeth. We would never go anywhere else! Dr. Petersen is a professional at what he does, explains every detail, compassionate, very warm office, the staff is always amazing too! He has a wonderful way about him that takes the worry or fear off of you and makes it not a problem. If you are looking for a GREAT Dr. then I would highly recommend Dr. Petersen...Ive never had any problems with the work he's done! It's always done with Perfection!

His office/rooms are clean, modern with beautiful views which makes it very relaxing while getting dental procedures done. I would highly recommend Dr. Petersen to all my family & friends.

He was fantastic! The tooth was extracted in about five minutes, with zero pain. He is knowledgeable and has a great attitude and bedside manner. I drove seven hours each way to get this done, as I have limited options where I live. His staff is also excellent and friendly. Even after all of that driving, it was well worth my time. The view from the dental chair was beautiful, overlooking mountains and a flowing river, another perk!
