Daniel Mayman was asked to conduct an evaluation for me last year. He was superficial and expressed ignorance to his own field and, frankly, surprising (even for someone with his background - the forensic and criminal systems) contempt toward those under his care (which was unsolicited but informative). On the positives, he was fairly candid about his views and opinions, though he became evasive and could not explain any basis for what he wanted to do/would have done were he a primary treating provider (leading to his tangent on what he's done for/to others similarly situated, from his perspective, and how patients always "thank me later" - a look at the facility and the reviews here clearly do not support that claim). Even former colleagues seemed to distance themselves. There was some difficulty from having had him involved at all, but thankfully he wasn't my treatment provider. Things ended up"working out" treatment wise, doing exactly the opposite of what he said was necessary.

As previous reviewers have mentioned; this is a doctor at Eastern Michigan University Snow Health Center. This quality of service is absolutely atrocious. The women at the front desk of counseling have little to no experience and are rude to the patients. Why hire someone inexperienced to handle mental health patients? When asked to relay critical issues to Dr. Daniel M. Mayman there is no response from either the main desk or the doctor. Clearly do not care about the patients.

Very poor quality of service. Office staff is very rude and do not relay messages and if they do he does not respond. He is currently a doctor at EMU now. DO not go to see this doctor.
