Good First Visit
I went to him because of an allergic reaction to an unknown substance. He listened to me and kind of quelled my fears. It’s only been a few days since my visit, but I’m very anxious to find out if I can ever eat shellfish again.

A true rarity in this day in age: A doctor who takes the time to sit and listen to every concern and then respond in a thoughtful and caring way. I cant say enough about Dr. Mayer.

I have been seeing Dr. Mayer for about 15 years now, for myself and my daughter. I have asthma, and my daughter had many food allergies as a young child. He is very knowledgeable, and during our visits he is very thorough and patient. He is not rushing my visit as many other doctors do. My daughter as an infant was allergic to Shell fish, beef, peanuts, milk, soy, and whey. She would be tested yearly, and we did food challenges in the office. My friends now go to him, and are glad they did

He is the most comforting doctor out there. He might seem standoffish, but it's just him thinking and he is warm, funny, and very assuring to all needs. Also very thorough and protective of his patients. He always makes you feel that he has all the time in the world, and that you can always get in touch with him, even if you just need to talk to him.
