Do not see Dr. Daniel Mann
On an emergency room visit, Dr. Mann was curt, dismissive, showed zero concern for my condition, and spent more time walking into and out of the room than actually diagnosing my condition. His discharge notes simply said follow up with my family Doctor within 7 days. He made no notes on my patient report so when I did follow up with my Doctor, he found no detail or notes of my emergency room visit. Mann then billed greater than $600 for lass than 1 minute of interaction.

He likes to be called Dan the Mann...NOT!!!
He has the personality and bedside manner of a slug. I have worked in the medical field for over 40 years and have never seen this level of incompetence. Somewhere he got the idea that ibuprofen is only a pain pill and completely looked dumb founded when he was told it was an anti-inflammatory agent AND analgesic but still wouldn't admit he was wrong. Someone else said he was arrogant and condescending and I second that description.... very well said.

First and last time I will see this doctor. Arrogant, condescending and doesn't listen. Also wrote false information in my records, in which I have since had amended. Before leaving the office, I spoke with the director to voice my complaints. I spent a miserable (approx.) 20 minutes with him, and I can honestly say it was the worst doctor experience I have ever had.

Arrogant, condescending and doesn't listen. Also gave false information to other health care providers causing even more stress and problems on top of what we were already going through dealing with the injury that brought us to charlevoix hospital.

I recently visited the ER. Dr. Mann walked in and began scolding me like a little child. He barked orders, tried testing my knowledge of MY body, and made me feel like I’d wasted everyone’s time by being there. Dr. Mann left the room with my jaw agape and completely confused with my discharge papers. Luckily, the rest of the staff took the time and care necessary to provide comfort and focus on my results. This made up for Dr. Mann’s complete lack of care and compassion, but I’m sick to know this is the care people of Northern Michigan will receive with this doctor. *I was born in this hospital, my family are major donors, and this is my hospital of choice. This is a very difficult review to write, but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else*

I've had Dr. Mann as my primary physician for 8 years. He always takes time to make sure any questions I have are answered. He has a very easy going, relaxed style. I have found him to be very caring and interested in me as a patient. I've recommended Dr. Mann to two others, both of which are also very happy.

Dr. Mann can be abrupt and rather rude. His bedside manner can be cruel. When he knows what the problem is, he can be helpful.
