Dr. Daniel Lerman, MD

He is the very best! Went to him for amputation after 10 surgeries and he saved my leg. All of them at this office are top notch. I recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Lerman performed a double knee replacement on a friend of mine back in October, 2022. My friend was discharged from St Luke's too soon after surgery. He suffered unimaginable pain, with no relief. His rehab was delayed because of the intense pain, and he has never fully recovered. Dr. Lerman's office has not done what I would expect of a concerned surgeon for his patient. My friend sits in a wheel chair today, 9 months after his surgery, and cannot get through to Dr. Lerman, only his office personnel and they don't do anything to help with his recovery.

Although I very much liked our surgeon, the office management is terrible. I was billed for out of network assistant surgeon that I was not told about and when questioned, I was told not to pay it because they would take care of it. After hours on the phone trying to get it taken care of, it was sent to collections. They promised to take care of things, but didn't do anything. Now they will not return any phone calls. Even though the surgeon was great, I would not go back because of the terrible customer service with the office.

I was so grateful when I found Dr. Lerman. A different surgeon created a leg length discrepancy of nearly an inch when he did my hip replacement surgery. The original surgeon treated me like I was crazy and like I was a hypochondriac because I was having so much pain in my legs, pelvis, back, neck and jaw. I am neither a whiner nor a pansy. Dr. Lerman could see that my crooked body did not match the information in the x-rays. He said, "Hmm. This is a mystery......... But I like mysteries! Let's search for answers that might explain this problem." He ordered some other tests and also referred me to a spine specialist. We did find 3 factors that contribute to my pain and crookedness. He listened and cared about the information I gave him about my body. He valued my insights because a 2 dimensional x-ray of the pelvis cannot tell the whole story. He was willing to keep looking for answers when other doctors just wanted to prescribe pain medications. Thank you, Dr. Lerman!

I was referred to Dr. Lerman after 2 unsuccessful knee surgeries. He was able to schedule me right away and a 3rd surgery was done, this time with success. He was very respectful and listened to me, addressing all my questions and concerns. He's very gifted.

I had a chondrosarcoma surgery done on my femur 2-3 years ago and what a success it has been. Dr. Lerman is highly regarded and I learned first hand why he is, he has always treated me with respect and explained thoroughly what to expect from my procedure. My followup appointments are always a pleasure and I have come to know him as a friend. Thank goodness for people like Dr. Lerman who have the skill, knowledge and compassion to help people have the highest quality of life possible for them.

My visits was was great! I left there feeling like he really cared out what I said and that he is a dedicated doctor that wants the best for his patients! He listened very carefully and didn’t act like he was in a hurry to get me out of there! I feel very confident in Dr. Lerman!! I would definitely recommend Dr. Lerman a hundred times over!!

Dr. Lerman was referred to my case by a retired ortho doc who cared for me for 20 years. After one phone call, I knew it was worth the flight from NC to CO to meet him and his team to discuss ideas/plans for my complicated and unique shoulder problems. He spent a lot of time with me, answering questions, working through different scenarios, and listening to my fears. His knowledge, desire to dream for me when I felt so discouraged, and ongoing support have continued well into my recovery. His team is readily available and his skill is top notch. I would recommend him over and over and over again. His work has made me feel whole again, and provided ROM in my shoulder that I have not had in 21 years.

I've been seeing Dr. Lerman for a few years now for PVNS in my knee. He recommended that I wait on surgery until it was necessary. It recently became necessary and Dr. Lerman and his PA Kate did an awesome job on my surgery and my knee is healing well. I'm happy to have a surgeon as skilled as Dr. Lerman who is not ready to jump into the operating room at the drop of hat. I think Dr. Lerman took my whole health into account and helped me make the best decision for what was right for me and my condition. I will continue to see Dr. Lerman as long as I have a need with me knee and he is still practicing.

Dr. Lerman is sincere, encouraging and compassionate. He explains everything in terms that the patient can understand and no question is dumb except for the one that is not asked. While he had not had a patient ask about getting back on a horse after having the leg infused, he asked questions about how I thought it would be possible, after I explained what I intended to do and that I did not see any reason why I could not still ride he asked if I would please send him a picture of me on my horse so he could show to others that have had the same thing done or are considering the procedure to encourage them to continue to do the things they enjoy and not just exist. The entire staff in this office are wonderful, amazing people who care about the patients.

I have been suffering with a broken femur that would not heal for 9 months Dr Lerman came up with a resolution to begin solving my issue . He was very personable and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend I know I am in good hands.

Evaluation of growth on my leg (MRI) done and referral to Dr Lerman. He was thorough and very competent in explaining what it was and my options.

I can not do DrLerman justice he is so awesome, he is so wonderful at what he does and he a great person as a doctor he is kind and thoughtful. I only wish I met him nine years ago I would have not had to under go the mistakes by other doctors. I know that you have a five star rating but DrLerman deserves ten stars. I would tell anyone that needs joint repair to go to DrLerman. He is the best

Dr. Lerman is the best! He stood by me and let me decide what I wanted to do and he has a great bedside manner and listens! I am from out of town and would recommend him to anyone! My experience was awesome and his assistant Katie is the best also!

He is the go to guy if you want and need the best. He treats you with respect and he listens to you for sure. His bedside manner is respectful and caring. He knows what he’s doing! Dr Lerman is one of the finest ortho’s I have been to. And I have had to see a lot. Way to go!

Dr. Lerman has performed emergency surgeries on my father who has an uncanny knack of taking a turn for the worst whenever his primary orthopedic doctor is out of town. Even so, Dr. Lerman has shown such professionalism and compassion with not only my father but our entire family, we feel he has gone above and beyond to ensure my father had the absolute best treatment. We can't thank him enough.
