Second Opinion
I would not recommend Dr. Krampitz. I was referred by my orthopedic doctor to check for possible ALS. His office conducted EMG testing. Second time I met with him to go over the results of testing, he He told me it did not look like I had ALS and he recommend I have cervical surgery and come see him in 4 months. I went to another neuromuscular Neurologist and they did a thorough battery of tests and gave me an ALS diagnosis.

Dr. Krampitz is both my and my husband’s neurologist. He is extremely knowledgeable, but not intimidating, personable and caring. We are grateful for the referral to his practice. Also, his MA is the best.

At Medical City ICU, Dr Krampitz was fast and thorough, he definitely knew what he was looking for. He was very decisive in treatment decision which worked great. He has a very happy and pleasant demeanor and was laughing and making us laugh. Great bedside manner in my opinion.

Dr. Krampitz was not particularly attentive or interested during the consultation. Despite being goaded to give his recommendations to me, he remained vague providing poor information that was already covered by my PCP. Instead of giving his recommendations he continually asked me what I wanted to do as far as medication vs. non-medication. When asked about efficacy of different options he remained vague and hurried. He stepped out of the room twice to answer pages. He has a very odd affect.

The provider was timely, but has limited bedside manner. It was my first appointment and while I was explaining the reason was I referred to his office, he walked out because there was too much clutter on the counter in the exam room. The exam room floor was dirty, water spots are on the ceiling tile, and the appliances in the exam room had thick dust on them. The MD was unable to treat my condition and told me to follow up with him in a few months.
