After being treated by MAs for 5 years, I had to see Dr. Kim. He said my back wasn't that bad while wanting me to either take a shot or referring me to a surgeon. Not something that should happen with a back that's not that bad. Although according to him I was not taking that much pain medication, he cut me loose saying I was not severe enough to treat anymore. I've moved on to a real Dr who ordered a new MRI and I have moved from bulging discs to herniated. So much for being not that bad. "Dr." Kim should not be allowed to practice any longer. Absent of any compassion, he does not listen to his patients. My primary care Doc told me this is a common story with Dr. Kim. Stay away from SN Pain Management.

Dr. Daniel Kim was rude ignored all my questions and would not allow me to provide input regarding my care. He told me if I would like I could ask for another physician at the clinic. When I requested another Dr., he said he runs the clinic and any other Dr. would do what he tells them to do. I left his office and called my primary physician requesting a referral to another Dr. Over the following weekend he sent me a registered letter advising me their office will no longer be able to provide medical care for me. When I requested my records be sent to the new Dr. I was given the run around. They said I had never signed a release to provide information to my primary physician which was not true and that I had to pay 80 cents a page for the records. Eventually they did send the records but not until after numerous calls from my physician and myself.

Horrible. You know, I thought it was a fluke the first time meeting him, he telling me I should not have hip replacement at my young age then telling me I must have taken steroids. I shrugged it off, as he proceeded to sell injections to me, take half my meds away as well as give me the third degree. Today, after waiting in his office for my second appt, I was reading reviews of what exactly happened next. He came in, tried to lower my meds again, pushed injections on me, this time in my new injured neck from car crash I was in and when I was hesitant on that idea, he asked if I was suing the other driver. That was when he threw his hands up, gave me 2 months of meds and discharged me with no return. Unprofessional and rude person. I have never been attacked so much and I did not even get to speak. Whatever. Dude is the worst, and I mean the worst. Good luch SNPC, you are not going to have many patients once this guy gets through.

Guy is definitely degrading, judgemental and rude. Didn't even let me speak, even though he had 20 questions. I miss Alanya. Probably be going to somewhere else as I feel he gonna just cancel me. He is smart, but that's not the whole package. He's a rude know it all and pushes injections because that's the money, not meds. Whatever.

Hell no! He is the most insensitive doctor I have ever seen. I have MS since I was 13 and I am now 40 and he went off on me asking me why I was in pain and when I got upset he told me not to come back.

I've been a patient of Southern Nevada Pain Center in Henderson Nv for over a year due to Colon Cancer treatment. After the Chemo treatments had ended, I had prolonged and noticeable nagging pain and neuropathy with my hips, knees and ankles. On my 2/29/21 appointment, I first met Dr Daniel Kim 2 days after my youngest sons death. He proceeded to belittle me as if I were a Junkie, telling me how awful I looked. I tried to explain to him that my youngest son just died 2 days prior and I apologized for being a wreck. He proceeded to berate me and would not listen about the pain I continued to have even though I was 9 months past my last chemo treatment. He could care less about the death of my son and proceeded without interview of my pain levels to cut my prescriptions from 150 / 15 mg. Oxycodon to 90/10 mg Oxycodon Acetaminophen. This Doctor DOES NOT LISTEN TO HIS PATIENT, it's All about him. I DO NOT RECCOMEND this Doctor under any circumstance.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR – Apr 20, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Kim?
The one star is for the staff. I feel sorry that they have to work for such a terrible doctor, that doesn't listen. I've seen 2 other doctors for over a few years, while going to SNPC. Then my doctor (Alayna Cheeckley) unfortunately left. She was very kind & responded to all my needs. I was also put on a list, for no risk of med abuse. Which was a pleasant surprise. This meant I only needed to come for visits every other month. Then I have to see Dr. Kim for the first time. I had an answer for every question he had for me (which he didn't like). Like others, he barely listened to anything I had to say. He also told me that they didn't have any records for me, which was a blunt lie. Since I had just taken an MRI months ago. I have now recieved a letter that they will not see me anymore. This is ridiculous, seeing I have never had a problem in the past. I would never recommend Dr. Kim to anyone. He is a terrible doctor!!!

I am a patient of Dr. Daniel Kim and He has always been kind and passionate dealing with me. I just don't understand why some people make bad reviews for him. He trained at one of the top hospitals in the country and both certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He is a top notch doctor in his field and I think he deserves better reviews.

Was horrific I have been going to Southern Nevada pain clinic. I saw another doctor there for six years. She has now cents left the practice. When I’ve gone to the souththern Nevada pain clinic for my appointment. I have always gone to the HENDERSON location. To find out that they had booked my appointment for the desert in location. They said it was my responsibility to make sure I check my location I had to go to for my appointment. So they booked me with Dr. Kim. I heard the staff talking and they said that now Dr. Kim is double book not my problem. So when he entered the room I started telling him about a little of my history. He got abrupt and he said I don’t know you you have no documentation in your chart. He said you have no records in your chart no diagnostic in your chart how my supposed to treat you so you think about that for two months and I’ll see you back here and you can tell me how to treat you. I find the doctor offensive abusive talking over me, wouldn’t listen to me

Dr Daniel Kim does not listen to his patients at all. He talks over them and does not have an answer for any questions. He even had the audacity to laugh when I told him I am allergic to other medicine so my options are limited. Supposedly that is “what drug addicts say”. He even told me that we need to get to the root of the problem of my pain, which is in my head! Nope.... not where my pain is located. If you want a caring doctor that you can have a great relationship with, he is not the one.

I had been visiting SNPC on D.I. for around two years. my visit today with Dr. Kim was horrific. I am Federally disabled, and have had a liver transplant. He asked me if i had all of my information from my diagnosis and the Surgeons bio that diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis, and my transplant DR.'s Info. etc. I told him I can can get it for you , it's at home. "well without that its like, the blind leading the blind". so that was offensive. I said I am not blind DR. personally I started a medical device/biotech company in san diego. i have worked with top surgeons/ spine / maxial facial/ plastic, etc. i know docs. I think he could only treat three patients a month. keep him around and you will have two cars in the parking lot, Two years, no abuse no overdose and he refuses me treatment. i socially know a lot of politicians and litigators that are my friends. recall the guy and continue my treatment. Thanks good will to you all!

Hell no I wouldn’t refer him. He listens to himself talk. He doesn’t listen to his patients. I had 2 great doctors before this prize winner. I’m done. Avoid this place at all costs, and especially Dr. Kim. He is condescending, and not caring in the least. He’s a complete waste of time, and space.

Unfortunately, my original doctor at So. NV. Pain Center left this practice, and I was dumped on this awful excuse for a “healer.” He never once listened to me during three appointments, yet TOLD ME what side affect that I was having. Yes...he TOLD ME that I was having side effects from a medication I’ve been on for years. His med assist. was equally as incompetent and downright rude. Please believe these horrible reviews! This man is the absolute worst doctor I’ve ever seen. He refuses to listen, doesn’t ask any questions regarding efficacy of prior treatments, and literally ruined YEARS of progress in just one visit. Dr. Kim should lose his license, and it seems as if he has enough reprimands with the state board that he SHOULD lose his license. No one should be subjected to his mistreatment nor his repulsive behavior...NO ONE!

This was a bad experience! He never did not preform any type of exam on me at all. He asked for no previous records what so ever. He did not even ask for a drug screen. From the time He came into the exam room,He was convinced I was a drug addict.I had 2 major surgeries on my back I also had to have a spinal cord stimulator implanted. All he wanted to talk bout was cutting me back on pain meds.He said the next time I came back to expect to be cut back.I would never recommend Him to anyone!

Six years at this drs office, being treated by dr Harris, he moved out of state I see this dr and I will never go back there again reporting on Dr Daniel K Kim. If you are referred to this dr, do yourself a favor, DONT GO!! He was reported to the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, found at fault. His overall ability to care for his patients, listen to their concerns is on a scale of 1 to 10 a rating of a zero, in other words he does not even make the chart. Again DO NOT GO TO SEE THIS DR.
