I don't even remember what I was in the ER for. What I do remember is having a severe panic attack while there. A Previous visit I had at the ER put my in the ICU with pneumonia and a horrible experience with a Dr. Judge at another date, and being diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia 8 months later. I have a panic order to begin with, states it in my chart, and the past experiences and the leukemia diagnosis just put me in a very high stress and panic mode. Dr. Jones got me through it, not just with medication, but sitting down next to my bed and reassuring me he would get me through it and everything would be okay. It took a while but things started to calm down and I could focus again. He was very professional, caring, kind and had an excellent bedside manner. When I got COVID he was one of the physicians who provided care, and I remembered him, he treated me with the same caring attitude as before.

I took my Covid positive girlfriend to the Washington MO Mercy ER at about 10:30 pm on 10/26. The Mercy Urgent Care NP that did her Covid testing on 10/21 told her that, due to her asthma and other underlying conditions, if her temp rose above 102 or her blood O2 dropped consistently below 92%, she should go to the ER. Her temp had been below 99 and her O2 above 95 from 10/24 until 5 on 10/26, when her temp rose to 102.3, her blood O2 dropped below 90% and she had progressively more difficulty breathing. After coming in from the 54 degree night air, they took her temp at 101 only once, but Dr Jones immediately said they would not be admitting her without any examination. They hooked her up to an O2 monitor, which continuously had alarms going off due to O2 levels below 90%, but Dr Jones never looked at it and said it had never dropped below 97%. He degraded our non-Mercy GP and sent her home wheezing, feverish and with low blood O2. He said "That's Covid. There's nothing we can do."

Horrible doctor! Needs to go back to medical school! I would never recommend him! And as you can see, no one on here rates him good!

I saw Dr. Jones when my BP was 215/110. He waived off an EKG at first because I wasn't having chest pains. After going back to the counter, he had one done. He only watched my monitors, no medicine, and released me when my BP was 170/62 telling me to see my PCP in a week. This was at 9:30p. At 11:30p, it was back to 187/87 so I took another 12.5mg. coreg (no use going back to he ER). I saw my cardiologist the next day. In my opinion, Dr. Jones is a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen
