I’ve been a patient for over 40 years. He is very determined as regards the health and care of his patients! His staff is top notch and one immediately recognizes they know their jobs and are determined to take excellent care of Dr. Goodman’s patients!

I have been seeing Dr. Goodman for about 30 years. He is very thorough and covers all complaints. He is an excellent doctor and I trust his ability completely. I moved out of state but return to Atlanta especially to see Dr. Goodman and his staff. I don't think you can find a better doctor.

Worse experience
I’m new to the area and was looking for doctor. He was on my plan and close, and the reviews seemed promising. Boy, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Staff was extremely rude, doctor was worse. Wait time was ridiculous for a 5 minute rushed appt. Don’t waste your time or money.

My mother was a patient of Dr. Goodman for over 25 years. My 97 yr old grandma was also a patient of Dr. Goodman, as well. I moved my mother closer to me and unfortunately the hours I worked, I couldn’t make the drive to Dunwoody. I made her find a new doctor. She has never been happy with her doctor and begged me to please take her back to Dr. Goodman. She adores him! My hours changed at work, and I was so happy that her wish could come true. Today, I called his office and was told he is accepting new patients. Great! (I was so happy to make this appt for my mom) I explained, she was a patient and had to leave because of the drive and my work hours. The receptionist said, my mom was no longer in the system but would talk to Natalie (office manager). She never called back so I called again. I was so excited to make this appt! Long story short, accordingly to Natalie (office manager) once you leave the practice you can NEVER return. My mother is 92 yrs old. Are you kidding me? I begged, I pleaded! Please don’t hold it against my Mom. I made her switch doctors. She LOVES Dr. Goodman. Please let her come back! I was told absolutely not! Natalie was so rude, I couldn’t believe I was talking to a person that is suppose to be in charge. I had to call my 92 yr old mother and tell her. All she kept asking was “What did I do wrong?” I paid all my bills on time?” You all should be ashamed of yourselves! How dare you treat someone like this! Dr. Goodman took an oath that said I WILL practice my profession with conscience and dignity; I solemnly pledge myself to consecrate my life to the service of humanity. Dr. Goodman in his years of service has forgotten this and shame on him!

Got an impression that they have an unstable and lousy administration. Made an appointment on June because they said they are available at the end of August. I called the day before to confirm appointment and they did not have our appointment on calendar. My husband had to submit his PTO for this appointment. They said they can set our visit for in October (another 2 months from now!) and at this point I cannot trust them anymore. I could have gone to a more promising clinic in those 2 months we wasted.

I have been a patient with Dr Goodman for at least 20 years and I recently asked him his age as I want him to be my doctor until I die. I am always treated with courtesy and friendliness by everyone in the office, and I have recommended the practice to several friends over time. He is the kind of doctor that all patients wish for.

I do not believe in the flu shots or the pneumonia shots and I had an argument with the doctor about rejecting to take them. He threatened to drop me as a patient. I told him that I appreciated his concern, but that I have not taken either shot for over 15 years and it was my decision. Ever since this happened, I've lost all desire to return to the practice. I don't like to argue with my Doctor.

DR. GOODMAN IS A CARING VERY NICE COMPETENT PHYSICIAN. HE LISTENS TO COMPLAINTS AFTER WHICH VERY PRACTICAL AND THOUGHTFUL SOLUTIONS THAT WORK FOR THE PATIENT ARE FORTHCOMING. HIS EXPLANATIONS ARE EASY TO UNDERSTAND. THE NURSES ARE ALSO VERY EXCEPTIONAL. APPOINTMENTS ARE GIVEN IN A TIMELY MANNER. WAIT TIME IS MINIMAL AND THE OFFICE IS VERY CLEAN. PARKING IS VERY EASY AND FREE I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THIS FRIENDLY AND WELL RUN OFFICE TO ANYONE.

Under the current system all of us are required to be on Medicare after the age of 65. I wanted private insurance but that is not possible. This doctor refused to see me because I am covered Aetna and Medicare. This does not speak well about his desire to help people. If you don't believe this could happen to you then check it out.
