Dr. Daniel Glotzer, MD

I entered the ER with pain in my chest, abdomen. It was finally diagnosed as gallbladder. Two doctor friends from the hospital recommended Dr Glotzer. He came in and explained everything, explained my options but told me I really only had one. So glad I took his advice. He did laparoscopic surgery a few hours later and it was very successful. The gallbladder had become gangrenous and would have quickly led to infection, sepsis, and ultimately death. But he did a great job, no spread of infection in the area I was released the next day feeling very good. I highly recommend him!

I absolutely love this doctor. I believe God sent him into my room that night. He took me into surgery at 3:30 am and operated on me and saved my life. There was another doctor in the ER who was going to send me home in beyond excruciating pain cause he didn’t know what was wrong with me, if anything he believed. Dr. Glotzer is truly a 5 star plus man who has compassion for his fellow human beings. He realized I was in serious pain and immediately took me to the OR. After the surgery, he came into my room and told me how serious my issue was. I cannot thank him enough for his knowledge, compassion, and heartfelt concern for me & my condition. I will forever be grateful to him for saving my life. The other “doctor” in the ER shouldn’t be a doctor. Dr. Glotzer is truly worthy of the highest praise and score awarded to any doctor. I would recommend this excellent surgeon/doctor to everyone I know and I thank God for how he helped me. I will forever be grateful to him.

He saved my life. Simple as that, was called in to do exploratory surgery as I was very ill. He met with me and my family. Since he was not sure what he would find once he 'opened me up' he could not fully explain in detail what he was going to do. Surgery: ruptured appendix (not previously diagnosed), removed part of my colon and ovary with a team of 3 different specialist doctors. I had to have a colostomy - that was something I was not prepared for but have since had that reversed - as promised. If not for Dr. Glotzer's expertise and experience I can honestly say I would not be writing this. He is wonderful, not only as a surgeon but every visit with him and his entire office staff, I was treated special and I will always be thankful that he was my surgeon. His total 'team', PA's (Heather) and other doctors on his staff are all top notch!

I had double hernia surgery July 8th done by Dr. Glotzer and am very satisfied , Dr. Glotzer is an excellent surgeon and a very professional doctor ,very personable and a nice guy. His staff is top notch in every way and I would highly recommend him.

Went into the hospital not knowing what was wrong or who would take care of me. I think he knew I was scared and explained what was going to happen and why. He was careful and ordered test to further evaluate my situation. Surgery went well and my follow up at his office went great also.

I went to Dr Glotzer for a second opinion about the need for a breast biopsy. His explanation for the need for a biopsy was clear and in layman's terms. It was his diligence that cancer was diagnosed in my second breast after a negative reading in a MRI. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He is a warm and caring individual and took as much time as needed to answer any and all questions from me and my husband.

Dr. Glotzer became my doctor through an admission to IRMH from the ER. He was knowledgeable, caring, and kept operated on me on a Sunday to help shorten my hospital stay. I am recovering just as he predicted. He was well respected by the nursing staff at the hospital and was wonderful at answering all my questions and those of family members.
