The Docctor is fantastic. His staff sucks.
Doctor Friedman is an extremely good diagnostician and competent physician. I have gone through 2 different procedures with him (a defibrillator implant and a cardiac ablation) and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist. However, be warned that the supporting office staff is the absolute worst. I have been trying for almost two weeks to get an approval for a prescription renewal. I have made as many as 10 different calls, always answered by a voice mail message (you can never get a live person on the line). My local pharmacy has contacted the doctors office at least twice trying to get the approval for a refill. We have been told that someone would call us back on at least 4 different occasions and they never did. The office supporting staff is totally unprofessional, get defensive when you tell them they have not called as promised and totally aloof when it comes to patient concerns I woud rate the Doctor a 5 out of 5 stars, but hs staff woudn't even get 1 star.

I had been having a-fib attacks for quite a while . My doctor up north was content keeping me on medication to control them. It was not working. After coming down to Florida I ended up making an appointment with Dr Friedman. He asked me if I would consider a cardiac ablation which I had him do. That was two and a half years ago and I have not had any attacks since. He probably saved my life. Thank you Dr. Friedman
