Dr. Daniel Eshtiaghpour, MD

Had one of my best doctor visits with Dr. Eshtiaghpour, and I've seen many doctors. I have had GERD and IBS issues for many years and many things I've tried in the past have not worked as well as I hoped. He was open to trying new things for me and even recommended a couple of other options I haven't thought of or heard of yet. I do recommend him for those in similar situations as me. His front office is also great. I'd like to note that Joana has helped me over 2 months in dealing with the hurdles my insurance sent us in getting a medication authorized. We finally got it approved today. Thank you, Joana!

I felt that he didn’t listen to my problems and overlooked my symptoms. Tried to make me feel it’s my mental state not real symptoms. Can’t recommend at all.

I am currently undergoing a serious health crisis. This doctor listened to my concerns in full and came with ideas to try to diagnose from a gastro perspective. The doctor is willing to collaborate with my other physicians as well. I feel secure with him for my gastro issues.

I came in to discuss my acid reflux symptoms and Dr E was one of the most methodical and detailed oriented physicians I have worked with and now I have my acid reflux symptoms under control after years of suffering. thank you Dr E

Daniel Eshtiaghpour is one of the least professionals, uncaring, ego head doctors I have ever dealt with in my entire life. His bedside behavior is beyond definition. As an example, I had an Endoscopy procedure with him on November 1st 2023. He comes in the OR, not saying hi or connect with me in any way, as was laying down waiting for him. He turns his back on me, talks with the Anesthesiologist while still his back is towards me, tell him to go ahead. I went trough the procedure, he didn't connect after the procedure neither. I have been waiting over two weeks to see the result of my Endoscopy or the Biopsies, non appeared in UCLA Mychart or no-one contacted me. My calls to this doctors office remained un-answered until I physically had to go to his office, wait for them to contact him to release the results that has been seating there over 10 days. During this period I am still in pain. He is extremely unprofessional and uncaring. Please avoid him by all means.

I went to see him in massive distress looking for help. He rolled his eyes at me and laughed. I left crying. He is pretty much the worst doctor experience in my life.

Dr. Eshtiaghpour listened to what my husband said and set a plan in place immediately. So sorry that we didn't get to Doctor first. We are so hopeful again that everything will work out! Thank you for putting us both at ease and right away.

Just the best. I had GERD stuff in my 20s that went away for many years after an endoscopy came back normal. I assumed it was stress. Just a few months ago I started having GERD symptoms again. I went in to see Dr. Eshtiaghpour, who couldn’t have been more sympathetic and kind. He listened thoroughly, was incredibly patient, and answered all my follow up messages to him via the portal quite promptly, which I appreciated. We got to the bottom of the issue via Barium swallow. I love that his recommendations have all been conservative, which is always my preferred route of treatment as well. Offices are clean and brand new and parking is free. Can’t recommend this doctor enough!

Dr E helped me from terrible bloating and gastrointestinal pain which I suffered daily. I had bouts of diarrhea to the point it disrupted the quality of my life. I went to see him, he was thoughtful, listened to what I had to say, didn’t interrupt me, and also did a colonoscopy a different day. I changed my eating habits based on his recommendations. It really has helped to control my bloating and abdominal pain.

For the last 10 years I have seen five different IG doctors – I had 3 doctors and had 3 colonoscopies. I was still in pain, frustrated and sad. I felt hopeless and I decisively requested assistance from my health insurance to assist me with finding another doctor. They recommended Dr. Eshtiaghpour. I was in so much pain – I was able to schedule an appointment and was seen ASAP. Dr. Eshtiaghpour is very knowledgeable, caring, and sympathetic. No one explained to me what and or why I was suffering. After I left his office I cried in my car… I felt someone finally cared and was compassionate and understood my struggles.

I visited Dr Eshtiaghpour for intestinal pains that would not go away. I was diagnosed with IBS and now I’m on medications that have made my life more comfortable.

Dr. Eshtiaghpour is very professional and caring and knowledgeable. Great bedside manners and take his time to listen to you and your problems. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Doctor Danny Eshtiaghpour who took out multiple tumors in my colonoscopy. He is fast and explains everything.
