I had horrendous break previously and the plate broke. I was in bad shape walked like this for 2 years. Dr. Elbert took xrays and said it was a mess! But 2 previous doctors said there was nothing they could do. After 11 surgeries and alot of hardware I am walking and working on my feet about 50-60 hours a week.He always explains things thoroughly and follows up.

He is a very knowledgeable, skilled physician who is sensitive to the patients needs. On top of that he is an empathetic person who understands what his patient is going through both physically and emotionally. He treats you like a person not just another patient. He thoroughly explained my condition and what my options were to fix the problem. I've always felt I received the amount of time needed and I've never felt rushed. He preformed a complete ankle replacement, explained each step of the process, and so far I'm right on track with the healing process. I definitely recommend him to anyone needing a foot and ankle specialist. Infact I'll be returning when needing my other ankle repaired.

Dr. Elbert is one of the best surgeons I have every met. He is a very kind and friendly person. He really dose take the time to explain your diagnosis. He did an excellent job on all three of my ankle surgeries. If I had to do it again I would definitely go back to him. And I definitely would recommend him to family and friends.

Dr Elbert was referred to my mother in the hospital. He was in her room addressing her wounds for over an hour and a half. I have never had a doctor spend so much time and have so much compassion for all she had gone thru. He took charge of her issues and I couldn’t be happier. My mother is finally healing.
