Took 5 weeks to return a call regarding bleeding
He never listened to my colitis problems. Refused to do a colonoscope . My condition worsened and became acute with intestinal bleeding. My primary referred me to Boston for care. Dr Donahue finally got around to calling me 5 weeks later. Very poor care.

I had a great experience with Dr. Donahue during my recent colonoscopy. Excellent bedside manner, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what was to be done, what to expect and put me at ease instantly. After the procedure, he went over the results and even came out to the recovery room to check on me and make sure I had understood the results since it was discussed soon after my coming out of anesthesia.

Very good experience. Great bedside manner, very clear about the procedure (a colonoscopy), explained the results clearly and in detail, answered all my questions, and gave me a printout of the results, complete with pictures. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I have been a patient for about 5 years. I was diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome at 40 years old (higher risk of colon cancer) He was very knowledgeable about this and was even concerned for my family members and to make sure they get tested. Great bedside manner. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Daniel Donahue since 2003 after my mother was diagnosed with colon cancer. I have had a colonoscopy every five years. The staff is very supportive and takes time to explain procedures and answer questions. They all go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Donahue reviews your history each visit and makes sure everything is up to date. I recommend Dr. Donahue and Milford Gastroenterology/Milford Regional Hospital without hesitation.

It is with deep regret that I will no longer be able to be a patient of Dr. Donahue as I have moved out of the area. Over the many years of being a patient of his I will miss his care, kindness and knowledge that have set the bar for all other doctors that I see. Sincerely, Ken Sylvester, Springfield, Ma.
