Dr. Daniel Dichristina, MD

Horrible communicator. He is dismissive and if you have pain after surgery he refers you out. I would never go back to him and his staff.

Dr. DiChristina is a highly skilled and knowledgable surgeon. He has a great sense of humor and wonderful bedside manner.

I went in because of a broken wrist and was terrified of surgery but Dr. DiChristina made it easy and understandable. I felt well taken care of and like he answered all my questions with kindness and patience. His staff was all friendly and kind and patient as well. I work in medical and this is the best office I have visited.

I have been a patient of Dr. DiChristina since 1999 he has done surgery twice on my left knee and my shoulder. I remember when I had my first surgery on my knee back in 1999 as I was waking up in the recovery room he was sitting in the chair waiting for me to come to he bedside manner is excellent and he explains the problem in layman terms i am currently looking at a total knee and I would not have anyone else do the surgery. If I had a problem that I need a ortho doctor and he could not do it I know he would recommend someone who could do it.it is my opinion that Dr. D. Is the best ortho doctor in the Syracuse area.

Terrible injury. Ruptured ACL and MCL, Broken Kneecap and ruptured quad. Was refereeing High School Hockey in a year, was playing competitively in 18 months at the age of 51 no brace required. My knee repair was a miracle. Other surgeons told me I would be lucky if I could go public skating again. He also repaired my labrum and rotater cuff in both shoulders. I was riding my roadbike pain free (OK against doctors orders) 2 weeks after the second shoulder was done and did a century ride 2 months after it was done. Still playing hockey and whatever else I want to do at 62. He did both my Dad's knee replacements, no problems and he has operated successfully on both my brother in laws and treated my athlete daughter for a knee issue. He might not be all she she la la or Doctor Phil but these are all great outcomes!!

We can’t say enough good things about Dr. DiChristina!! He and his staff have been caring, kind and informative. My son felt comfortable with the plan for his surgery. Dr. made me as a mom feel confident from the moment we met, he said “I would do this surgery on my own son”. Thank you Dr. D!!

As I previously reviewed him on another site, it's worth mentioning again. He did surgery on my wife's knee just yesterday and she hasn't been in pain for the past 18 hours! He was thorough with her work up. Got her into the office fast and fixed her up even faster. He already had her in the office for a follow up this morning to see how she's doing. Dr. D is easy to understand, to the point, and one of the best at what he does! All my thanks!

Office staff is unfriendly and disorganized. They do not return calls and get their medical records mixed up. Don't seem to be on top of things or appear to be that smart either. They do not call to follow up with important information and seem careless about their patients. Very disappointed and upset!!
