I was sent to Dr. Carr for an IME due to a back injury I received at work. He determined, after “reviewing my records” and a VERY brief exam determined that my disability was mild, 25%, even though I had 2 other Drs that have been treating me and seeing me frequently since my injury stating that I am unable to work at all. I won’t leave my name because I am still fighting this in the courts. Please if your employers Comp adjusters send you to him for evaluation become concerned and get a GOOD lawyer (Comp pays for lawyer so shop carefully). Otherwise you might be in a position, like me, where you don’t get enough money a month to live on and an inability to work.

My daughter sprained her ankle playing basketball. We saw Robert, the PA who was wonderful with her. Very professional and caring. Highly recommend!

Last year I saw Dr. Carr for an IME. My left (dominant) hand and wrist were casted, a definite impediment to examination. He stated he would instead do a "record review." However, the report he submitted chronicled a full examination and recommended I return to work without restriction. With a cast on my dominant hand! Months later (cast removed), I was scheduled for another IME with Dr. Carr. He refused to see me because I was 15 minutes late (due to the transportation provided by the WC carrier). I was thrilled! I certainly hope the WCB judges realize how Dr. Carr is exploiting the injured worker in order to line his pockets. He ought to be barred from the practice of medicine, in my opinion

The worst experience EVER. He "examined" me through a cast!!!! He should stop trying to impress insurance companies and instead use that SUNY education to help patients heal. I wouldn't trust him to take out the trash.

Needs to trust and believe in some patients that are seriously injured and are not getting better. I know that there are fakes out there, but I am one that truly is tyrying to get help, answers, and be the way I was or close to it.
