POOR. My father and mother were very unhappy with their most recent experience with Dr. Daniel Cacioppo. My father (65) has shown symptoms of early onset Alzheimer's. Dr. Cacioppo appeared unconcerned, unsympathetic, hastily rushing in and rushing out of the appointment, barely made eye contact, and when finally responding to my mother displayed terrible bedside manner. It's absolutely disgraceful to treat seniors in this manner, particularly seniors who have gone out of their way to seek help.

Hi, thank you very much for the positive review.

My mother was having symptoms of a TIA and he completely dismissed her saying there’s nothing they can do beyond her current medication. He was very condescending. A second opinion came back with a type of migraine and is starting new medication. The symptoms for this type of migraine is similar to a stroke. He really didn’t listen.

Since the fall, I have suffered from epilepsy and stiffness. Dr Cacioppo was the first neurologist we saw and shared ALL the symptoms I was having, and he brushed it off telling me I was under psychological stress, so I went to mental health classes, started seeing a therapist, and went to PT. In spite of my continuing symptoms, he ran no tests, ordered no EEG, and offered no solution or treatment plan. Now, I have been properly diagnosed by Rush and am seeing a great improvement. NOT WORTH IT.

This is based on the initial office visit/consult. Dr Cacioppo is low-key but warm, thorough, knowledgeable, and didn't rush me. He appears to take a holistic view of treatment in that he recommended non-neurological measures in addition to (but not instead of) traditional treatment, and he didn't just throw a bunch of prescriptions at me. The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is because I don't yet know if his suggestions will be effective.

He addressed all of my concerns and despite my rare neurologic condition, he was well-informed. It was refreshing not to have to familiarize a doctor with the ins and outs of my disorder. What's more, Dr. Cacioppo was very personable, and that made for a great experience.

Doctor is very thorough. Sometimes the wait is a little long but not too bad. He has a very good bedside manner and really cares about his patients.n
