Dr. Daniel Boyett, MD

I had a Nissin Fundoplication reversal and hiatal hernia repair on August 27, 2024. My experience with Dr. Boyett and his team was exceptional. My surgery was very complicated and took much longer than the norm. Although Dr. Boyett is very direct, in which I like, you know exactly what you are getting into. He explains every portion of the procedure and what is to be expected. The follow up paperwork leaves no question unanswered. I would recommend Dr. Boyett's team to anyone that asks. The office staff has been very helpful and accommodating when I've needed questions answered on all levels. I forgot to mention, I feel better than I have in years.

I had Gastric Sleeve on Nov 4th 2022 at Huntsville Hospital. I stayed one night after the procedure. Dr Boyett was attentive to my questions and concerns, sitting and talking through everything with me. Dawn in his office is a complete angel! Surgery went smoothly and I’m down 65 pounds in 5 months. No judgment and the best bedside manner you will find in anywhere. Thanks for helping me get my life back.

I have worked in the surgery medical field for 25+ years. During my career I have worked alongside many surgeons. I have personally worked with Dr. Boyett for a few years now. I recently had laparoscopic gallbladder surgery performed by him. I can say nothing but the greatest things about him; not only in a patient view but also working alongside him in a professional manner. He has nothing but the utmost respect for his patients and his career. I see it firsthand. He is definitely one of the only few genuine and humble surgeons around these days. Office staff is terrible! I begin my journey to having a hiatal hernia repaired via bariatric surgery on March 8th. Boyett told me I would not have to have a motility study or PH study since I had previously had one and it was TRAUMATIC. Started the same day with monthly weigh ins. Finished in August couldn't get anyone to call me to tell me next steps. FINALLY was told had to do the two studies mentioned above as an insurance requirement (later found out not true). I called three times during September to see if they got my weigh in info from my primary. No call backs. June 7th-told me I had an appointment on Oct 7th for the studies. Oct 6-called to find out what time. I didn't have appt. Got fitted in. Been calling since Oct 12 for next steps. Cant get a call back EVEN FROM THE OFFICE MANAGER!!!! Nov 18 was told primary hasn't sent anything. An hour later they called back saying everything was submitted to PEEHIP earlier this morning.

I initially called this office and gave them my insurance information, they told me they accepted it but later billed me for the visit. No explanation was given. I called my insurance company and appealed the claim to help clear up my bill, the office then refused to see me. I will tell everyone I know not to see this Dr. Daniel Boyett. ??

Dr Daniel Boyett is awesome! Very kind, compassionate and caring doctor. He listens very well and performs great work. I had a hemorrhoidectomy which I dreaded, but he did a great job. I would refer anybody to him! He is a doctor others need to look up to!

Dr. Boyett performed a gastric sleeve surgery for me and did an excellent job. His bed side manner is warm, he is thorough in his explanations and listens attentively to any questions asked. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Boyett was very qualified and professional and I am pleased with my surgery. He was very quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had.
