Dr. Daniel Allen, MD

He was directly disrespectful, took minimal time to try to ask questions to get to know me, and condescension seeped through his words. I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with a variety of other psychiatrists in my life so far, and those relationships have taught me what it looks like when a medical professional truly cares for their patients. Allen expresses a disregard for the success of his patients, which is exemplified by him telling me in our first session that I was just a drug addict, and he only took me on as a curiosity case because he thought I was intelligent.. while that was unfortunate, he did teach me a lot about how not to be as a man- which I am very grateful for. I do hope that he has since developed better skills to manage his ego and to find his own sense of self
