Dr. Dana Ugwu, MD

Dr. Ugwu was nice enough, but I only went to her once. She blamed all of my issues with depression and anxiety on my weight and refused to give me ADHD meds. My weight gain was directly caused from being off of my meds and got right back on track once I got a new prescription.

Dr Ugwu was very thorough and observant, did not rush and was very prompt on giving information and feedback.

I was sick for months and came to her for a second opinion. She told me she’s only worried about the past month and in the process ignored numerous issues I brought up with her although it was available for her to review in my portal. If I told her about stomach pain, she said well a GI already looked at it. If I said headaches, she would say a specialist already said X. I asked her if I could have a vitamin deficiency and she said “You tell me which vitamin”. She said she tells all her patients to get STD checked so she ordered those tests and said come back in a year. The standard of care I would expect from the VA. I left sick without answers and ignored.

Dr. Ugwu was very thorough about my health history and listened carefully to my concerns. She really took her time with me and I never felt rushed. She and her nurse are the best, and a credit to Integris!

Dr. Ugwu is VERY thorough. I am so glad that I decided to make a switch in the doctor I had been with for almost 20 years. She determined quickly that a change in medication was necessary and I'm already seeing positive results. Her nurse Jane is a gem! She makes every visit great!
