I have been through six doctors before Mr Merck solved my blood pressure problem right off the bat. Then came stiffness. I could not not bend over to tie my shoes. Dr Merck new exactly what medication was needed to solve the problem... I now bend and twist like I did ten years ago.
Dr Merck seems to have the power of x-ray vision to see what so many other kept guessing at.

Dr Merck has always listened and responded to my needs and questions, He and his staff, Judy and Candace have checked on me after surgery and always return my calls scheduling appts as soon as possible. In my opinion Dr Merck is a great problem solver!

Dr.Merck is thorough and attentive, extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He has always taken my concerns seriously and follows up with all proposed actions. He is the kind of physician you want following your health issues and he takes care of his patients like they are family!

Very punctual, great knowledge of pertinent statistics, thorough explanation of all treatments and procedures, and great health tips when Dr. Merck notices a lifestyle weakness. In my 60 years of going to the doctor, I have never felt that any doctor cared as much about my health as Dr. Merck. Best of all, Dr. Merck ends every visit with asking me if there is anything else he can help me with.

Dr. Merck is not a very caring dr., he preaches and does not seem to really care about his patients. He seems to have a superior attitude. Also, he seems to overlook root causes of problems and we have to point things out to him far too often.

Dr. seemed cold and judgmental. I did not feel comfortable with his superior attitude so I did not openly share all my current medical concerns. It was obvious that he was passively angry that I missed a previous appointment. The reason was of no concern only said that my missed appointment cost him money. He spent the bulk of the appointment professionally lecturing me while pointing out other missed appointments that I had in my history @ UC Davis. Reviewed lab & updated family History.
