My entire experience with Dr. Cohen over the past 3 years had been nothing short of spectacular! His expertise and genius mind has helped me with my cervical and lumber spines. The unbelievable outcome of my severe scoliosis has wowed all of my family and friends, and especially myself! The combination of his professionalism with his amazing bedside manner is like non other. His incredible personality, and his compassion towards his patients, along with his expert surgical outcomes are top-notch No wonder patients come from around the world to see him! I also want to give a shout out to Maria (Surgical Coordinator) and Yetti (PA) who have both positively contributed to my well-being throughout the surgical process!

If you’re having back issues I highly recommend visiting Dr Dan Cohen at Mount Sinai Hospital/Spinal Institute Miami Beach. 305 423-3939. He’s got a Great/Caring bedside manner and has tremendously helped me restore my quality of life regarding my lower back!. (Please note) Although he is a Surgeon, my treatment has not involved surgery! I am entirely grateful for my experience thus far! My back is still improving and I would recommend him highly if you or a loved one are dealing with spine issues!

Uhhh, I’m not sure what Dr. you dealt with, but I’ve been using Dr. Cohen for the last 20months. Not only is his staff professional and super friendly, they follow up and ensure everything is being taken care of. To attack Dr. Cohen’s creditability directly, you’re doing the reviewers more harm than good. He’s an outstanding Dr and extremely passionate about his work. Not only that, he actually takes the time to listen during the appointment and respectable AF. Sorry. Just being honest. If you have the opportunity to visit his office, just know you will be taken care of by an amazing staff that is obviously guided by an amazing surgeon Thanks Sgt. USMC

I came to Dr. COHEN after 3 failed back surgeries. His no nonsense demeanor was reassuring even though we were discussing spinal fusion with Rods, plates and Pins. I was back in the gym after 2 months. He is a miracle worker. PS. He also operated on my father with wonderful results.

Dr. Cohen is an excellent surgeon. He performed surgery on my L4/L5/S1. I experienced immediate results in the form of pain reduction and the ability to walk free from a wheelchair and cane. Dr. Cohen prescribed physical therapy and aqua therapy after my surgery which not only gave me the opportunity to strenghten my core, but also aided in my 50 pound weight loss after my inability to perform any daily movement. The staff is just as professional as Dr. Cohen. Exceptional Surgeon and Staff.

Awesome Dr. in every way. I had a herniated c6-c7 and Dr. Cohen repaired it masterfully. Had the surgery in 2008 and feel great 10 years later. Highly recommended.

Horrible office staff and communication. They gave me incomplete medical records and refused to communicate followup despite my repeated phone calls. I found the whole experience unprofessional and unpleasant and don't recommend this practitioner to anyone.

Talking on my own experience, this doctor is the best surgeon in the world, after 7 years suffering with pain as a result of a work injury, twice operated badly by two other surgeons, and permanently doped with the painkillers, this doctor gave back my quality of life. Always spoke honestly and concern how I would eradicate the use of opiods to hide the pain. Sincerely I think that the hands of that doctor are touched by God.

Dr. Cohen gave me my active lifestyle back. He performed surgery on my spine & because he employed a minimally invasive approach, I recovered remarkably easily & returned to work quickly despite it being a complex procedure. He is a pioneer in this type of approach who teaches colleagues worldwide. He gave me the details of the procedure with patience & professionalism always maintaining a caring demeanor. It is with sincere & emphatic conviction that I recommend him & his caring staff.

I had a herniated disk (lumbar). In 2008 he performed surgery through a small cut (less than 2). It lasted less than 20 min. and he -personally- kept my family in the waiting room informed. I walked out of the hospital in just a few hours with very little pain in my back. Eight years later, my back is still fine.
