Nobody knows what they are doing
The office manager, who I think is his wife is impatient and rude on the phone. You will never see the same PA or doctor twice because they all end up leaving. It became impossible to get refills on the simplest of prescriptions and you are often yelled at as the patient when you question what is going on. I am not against paper records , but when it is always new staff looking at your records they are bewildered as to who you are and what may be bothering you therefore you must tell your life story again and again because they can’t get through the pile that is your file. Every other doctor I have uses electronic records so I can easily ask for refills, send emails , see what is going on with billing and best of all - have my other practitioners see my results and overall health issues in real time. This guy is just taking money from every rehab and then trying to have a practice on the side.

If you’re looking for any type of MAT run!!!
I couldn’t get my suboxone script for 3 days and was widthdrawing badly when they could finally fit me in to be seen. Then Laura, the office manager had the audacity to call me and be extremely rude. She literally LIED saying they offered to see me sooner. She also lied saying that I went into their office screaming/name calling about being sick. When in fact I simply stated how big of a deal it was and that they put me at risk for relapse by not prescribing a hold over dose or seeing me sooner. Times that there has been screaming involved was when one of their providers named Julia screamed at me on the phone and accused me of having addiction issues. These people are so insensitive and disrespectful to anyone trying their hardest to maintain sobriety. I would absolutely steer clear of Dr Raskins office if you expect to be treated like a human being.

I dont have a bad word except for his fromt desk staff the few that were his original core were amazing! If i remember correctly, brittany was the best, but now the front desk isnt terribly helpful or caring. Raskin, on the other hand, does and he is the best there ever was. Raskin actually cared about the results and his patients He has both treated me and people I have referred to him. I had a good experience with Ellen, the PA, but if I drive all the way after making an appointment to see a doctor and end up seeing a glorified nurse, it doesnt make me too happy.

HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLET: All I wanted to do was send a follow up visit photo and Asked for the doctors email... Two weeks ago I called with a bad eye infection from Carbuncle boils staph infection. Unfortunately, Ellen Corn, the(PA) came in instead of me insisting on seeing a real doctor, I paid a $65 co-pay and showed Her in a PHYSICAL OFFICE VISIT all boils. She Recommended internal and external antibiotic. I asked for external and said let's wait & see about internal. 1 wk later, needed internal antibiotic. Lecturer & off manager Brittany stated that I needed to come in and be seen or go to the emergency room. I tried to explain PA gave me the wrong prescription. She said the PA didn't see cysts in the previous visit and that I called on the phone for a prescription. I tried numerous times to correct her but she RUDELY said she wanted to finish her lecture before I was allowed to speak. I hung up. This office doesn't care a rats behind about its patients. It's all about the $

HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLET: All I wanted to do was send a follow up visit photo and Asked for the doctors email... Two weeks ago I called with a sudden bad dual eye infection from Carbuncle boils staph infection. Unfortunately, Ellen Corn, the physicians assistant (PA) came in instead of me insisting on seeing a real doctor, Dr Raskin, who I had originally asked for. I paid a $65 co-pay and showed Ellen in a PHYSICAL OFFICE VISIT the infection that were in both eyes. I also showed her other boils that were clearing up or just popping out. I showed her each of these but told her I felt like I had a handle on treating them and didn't want the internal antibiotic she had recommended just yet. I requested that we just address my eyes. I do NOT like taking antibiotics as my health was ruined for 40 years from over zealous doctors at USC when I was a teen athlete there. I told her I would call if the other boils became a problem, which within a week one did become a problem and I did call back

Raskin failed to note abnormal lab results for over three years! We only discovered this after my mother left the practice and became seriously ill. According to Propublica Dollars for Docs, Raskin took significant "payments" from pharmaceutical companies. 2018, Raskin accepted $95,624 value. 2017, Raskin accepted $119,080 value. 2016, Raskin accepted $109,318 value.

BEWARE this office is very unprofessional and you will never meet Dr. Raskin himself but different people each time. They will lose your payments and continue to bill you for the amount you have already paid over and over again. If you do not pay close attention you will be paying bills from them over and over again unless you supply them with an actual copy of your cashed check which still have to call and follow up to make sure they have actually credited your account. I paid a bill for $205 i
