Dr. Nou could not be bothered with me when I actually got sick, whereas she was highly attentive when I needed routine care. When I actually got sick, Dr. Nou turned patronizing and skeptical. She did not help me sort out what was going on. She quickly lost interest when diagnostic tests did not yield a straightforward diagnosis. Dr. Nou over-relied on narrow specialists. She failed to use her broad platform as a primary care doctor to problem-solve a condition that required management rather than cures. I persevered, and found an osteopath at Steward to help me. I also found a remote specialist on women's dysautonomia who has become an important part of my Team. To get back to Dr. Nou, what is the point of seeing a doctor who loses interest when you actually get sick? I do not recommend Dr. Nou.
