Dr Daisy Lazarous is AMAZING!!! She was highly recommended to us. We are so thankful to have her now as our family cardiologist. She is caring, compassionate, very attentive to my parents needs, very attentive to the families needs and concerns, and very thorough with all the information we share and gave to her. She took her time with us and we did not feel rushed. She deeply cares about her patients like they are her own family. What a small world she cared for me too. So it was such a honor to see her again and now have my parents and family in her care. She is thorough with recommendations and all the information that was given to her about my parents (old and new) she is thorough with everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Before we left, we had the biggest smiles on our faces and felt very loved and cared for during our visit. Thank you so much for all you did for us Dr Lazarous. We are so thankful with grateful hearts. The front office is amazing!!! Sheria, Esther and the front office team are so sweet and caring. They loved my parents well. Natasha and Nixia are amazing!! They have always given my parents top notch service, love and care. I would highly recommend Dr Lazarous and her team.

Excellent Cardiologist

Dr Lazarous, is knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. She is an excellent listener and easy to communicate with, and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed during my appointment. I am very fortunate she is my cardiologist and I highly recommend her.

Does Qatar Lazarous becomes very frustrated if her patient is not getting better fast enough. She made accusatory comment about me. She even repeats the conversation between her and my other doctors in order to put the blame on me. She was impatient and rude. In my opinion. Dr Lazarous is unfit for medical personnel.

Amazing Doctor! *SAVED MY LIFE*
Dr. Lazarous has saved my life! Before I came to doctor Lazarous, I had horrible blood pressure and found it hard to breathe or do normal functions of life. Since meeting doctor Lazarous, my blood pressure is being controlled successfully (she is the only doctor that’s been able to do this for me), I was diagnosed with heart blockage and had immediate surgery. If I had waited a few more months to a year to get help, I would be dead from a heart attack. I have seen her for 4 years now and look forward to every visit. She listens to any questions and concerns I have. My appointment is never rushed, she cares deeply for her patients and has never made me feel ashamed for asking questions or forced to do tests or procedures without my permission. If I hadn’t have met Dr. Lazarous, I would surely be dead right now! Thank you so much Dr. Lazarous! Definitely recommend to others!

Horrible Experience
Telehealth
This doctor is rude and doesn’t seem to be concerned about the patient. I tried asking questions and she just cut me short and just didn’t seem to want to deal with my concerns. She put me down because of my weight and kept telling me I needed to lose weight, but didn’t want to help me with that. I understand that weight loss is important, but is hard for some. Her staff is also very rude and hard to get ahold of on the phone. I was told that a virtual appointment was easier to get otherwise to see her it would be months. The virtual appointment was late and was rushed and I felt like I wasn’t able to speak. She needs to learn to listen to her patients. If we can’t ask questions how are we going to learn? She acts like she is above everyone and a doctor that acts like that is definitely not worth seeing in my book. I am finding myself another doctor that cares about their patients wellbeing.

Recommend a different doctor
The doctor is fine, and friendly for the most part, I would not recommend this office because of the office staff. They are the front line. The personnel who answer the phone are rude and curt. I've tried several times to call the Rockville office to get instructions for an upcoming procedure and no one has answered in the past two hours that I have been trying. In a previous call, I was told that the procedure instructions would be mailed to me because they do not email that information. Have not received it, so I called today in hopes to get verbal instructions for a procedure that is scheduled TOMORROW . Called 8 times to the Rockville office within a two hour period (nevermind the several unanswered attempts I have made in the past two days). No answer. Finally, called the Silver Spring office, spoke to someone (who was also curt) asking for those instructions because I never received it in the mail and I was told that it could not be emailed. She said, "I don't email that kind

I unfortunately did not have a pleasant interaction with Dr. Lazarus . She was not kind to me on the phone and blamed me for asking questions . Really disappointed. Patients should not be treated this way.

I have been surprised to see the negative reviews here for Dr. Lazarous. Both my husband and I have had good experiences with Dr. Lazarous over the last six years. She is pleasant, thorough and clear about her advice. I want to speak of our experience in regard to some of the concerns raised by others. I am known for asking lots of questions and do not remember ever feeling rushed or dismissed. She has never recommended any medication for me and has cut back on my husband's medication when his blood pressure was getting too low. So I can't say she has overprescibed for either of us. Her office staff has always been pleasant and accommodating This is not to say that others haven't had very different experiences. But ours have been quite positive. She was recommended to us by our previous cardiologist at Johns Hopkins whom we also thought a lot of.

Horrific!! She made me feel terrible for asking questions. She forced tests on me I didn't want and then told me I couldn't see her for the results because I didn't complete all 3 tests. My health is in risk in her hands. I will NEVER use her again!

Experienced very poor interaction. The physician was not concerned with answering many questions and gave opposite advice than my primary care physician whom I saw the week prior. That itself was not the issue however when I inquired further to better understand and address my concerns she became short and dismissive. I asked about suggested follow up procedures to which she flippantly responded that I was not to bother since I was non-compliant. I have never had this type of experience before and changed physicians as the sole result of this visit. In fact, I normally do not concern myself in creating a review until now. Although many physicians are specialized in what they do for a living so are many others. Happy to spend my money elsewhere. Maybe auditing business classes should be part of the AMA certification process.

Arrogant, authoritarian interaction with patient, dismissive of patient's experiences. Sent prescription to pharmacy without first discussing with the patient the need for the medication, the pros and cons of the medication, without asking patient about side-effects experienced while taking the medication previously, or asking whether the patient was willing to take the medication. First mention of the prescription was a phone call from her tech advising patient that the prescription had already been sent to the pharmacy. CDC guidelines indicate the medication not advised for this patient. In my view this approaches the level of medical negligence.
