Dr. Dafna Lebow, MD

Dr Lebow has been my gynecologist for many years. At every visit I'm greeted like family. She is very efficient and professional and takes the time to talk to me with any concerns. During a recent D&C, she discovered an abnormal polyp in my uterus and directed me to see an oncology specialist. I chose Dr Pearson at Sylvester Cancer Center, U of M and had the recommended hysterectomy. She called me to make sure I took care of this health issue. I feel blessed to have her as my doctor all these years. I highly recommend her to take care of your gynecological needs. Let me tell you about dear Dr. Lebow. Not only is she brilliant in her diagnosis but her excellent bed side manner makes you feel right at ease as soon as you enter the exam room. I am a 68 year old woman who's had two sons and yet have always been petrifed of the pap smear exam. Not with Dr. Lebow though. Never have I felt so much at ease and totally relaxed as I do with Dr. Dafna Lebow. An absolute credit to her profession is how I would describe her. I pray she never retires. She's a blessing for her patients. Oh I would recommend her to all women everywhere. She's also very quick to give out the results of the exam. The office in itself is efficient to the core. My only lament would be, I did not discover her sooner. I have been with her for over 5 years though.

I am truly disappointed with Dr. Lebow, I’ve been seeing her for the past 4 years. I found out I have fibroids and she never told me and when she did find out she still hasn’t given me a treatment plan. She knows I want to have kids and she just disregarded my health. This is truly negligent and she didn’t even call me until 2 weeks after me seeing my lab results online. ???????

Dr. Lebow is the sweetest, most caring, and informative doctor.

I saw doctor Lebow a year ago for a pap smear and she has terrible bed side manners. She seemed to shame me for not having an HPV vaccine and she was pretty rough when doing the pap smear which I've had done before but this was the most painful. She negated everything I was trying to tell her and seemed to be trying to talk me into getting the vaccines and wanted to know more on my inactive sexual health. Just rude and definitely one of those old school doctors who think its her way or the high way. I would never recommend her. I also never got my results from my pap smear from this office.

Amazing best GYN in Broward County

I was a patient of Dr. Lebow who was referred by my mom. I always had a problematic monthly cycle and was always looking for ways to make it a better experience for myself. I experienced debilitating pain, sweats, nausea, heavy bleeding, etc and Dr. Lebow, even after finding a fibroid, advised me to keep taking birth control pills to help manage it. She wouldn't even write me a prescription for any pain relief. She also told me there was nothing she could do because some women just have it that bad. Fast forward 1 year and I have passed out at work and have to taken by ambulance to the hospital. I had become severely anaemic from the monthly blood loss and I had no idea. I had 3 large fibroids and was advised to stop taking the birth control pills immediately. I had the NovaSure procedure done at another doctor's recommendation and have a new outlook on life. Overall, I felt Dr Lebow was nice enough, but she really let me down with my course of treatment.

I have moved out of the South Florida area but used to see Dr. Lebow as my ob/gyn. She was great when I saw her for annual visits. When it came time to give birth to my first child she was terrible. I had never had a child before. She was upset because she induced labor and then it took many many hours to have my baby. She was getting frustrated with me. She kept looking at her watch because she had to be somewhere. Very rude. Terrible bedside manner. I'm surprised she is still practicing.

I came to her for fibroids making me bleed heavy on menstrual cycle. My blood was at 12.1 hemoglobin, I bleed down to 8.0 hemoglobin while under her care. She did Novasure procedure on me it didn't work. I was bleeding twice a month so I called to get shot to stop period. She said something about it won't work. It worked for two months then I am bleeding again, while waiting for next shot. Nurse rudely hanging up on me. They lie alot. She leaves country while her patient suffering.

Dr. Lebow is horrible with her diagnosis. If you have a problem, I urge you to seek another physician. She put me on antibiotics twice which; was totally unnecessary. I decided to see another doctor to get their diagnosis. To make a long story short, I had to see a Gyno Oncologist immediately. Biopsy and surgery was needed right away and fortunately; everything turned out fine. I’m very happy I got a second opinion and found an awesome doctor.

Terrible. No bedside manner. Doesn't listen to a single concern. Her office staff is rude and treats patients terribly. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. This is the worst doctor experience I've had. Run don't walk away from this office.

Dr. Lebow is considerate of your time. Everything I see her she moves quickly to get you on your way. I think it is because she assumes you may have left work or took time off from to attend your appointment. The only thing I don't like about her practice is the inability to get someone from her office on the phone. I've had to call there several times and spoke with someone from the answering service who is not located in Florida, and they aren't able to leave a message for her office either.

Very polite and pleasant, makes you feel right at home, her medical assistant is very nice and friendly. I felt very comfortable the first time I met Dr. Lebow
