very unsatisfied with hershows no interest in helping her patientsjust there to do her 8 hours

Had a routine procedure and Dr. Lau made sure there were no other issues. She and her group were very friendly. I felt comfortable with everyone at her practice.

Was very abrupt and did not wish to hear anything about what I was experiencing. Would not recommend her.

Dr. Cynthia Lau is one of the best doctors I've met in my life, and ever had to work with. She listens to your ailments, obtains a full understanding of your case, and then acts in a very professional manner. Giving you details on how to proceed, explaining processes and procedures as needed, and patiently answering any questions. Without hesitation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this doctor.

Terrible! Failed my grandma's procedure. She had to stay in ICU for two months. Never asked about her or anything. I hope she stops practicing! Please stay away from her.

As a RN for almost 38 years, I witness the quality of a physician's practice, clinical knowledge and bedside manner. There is no one else I would go to as Dr. Lau is clinically outstanding, treats you as she would her own loved one and her bedside manner is excellent. Dr. Lau has a very rare combination of passion for on going education, clinical skills that all physician's cannot grasp and compassion for patient's as human beings.

Indifferent and aloof. Definitely lacks compassion. I wish I read other reviews about her.

She was in a hurry and on her phone texting all the time. No concern for me or my problems. A waste of my time.

She was in a rush, did not listen to me and scheduled procedures without explaining anything.

You can never teach her for your test results or after your procedures. When she calls you, instead of listening to you she gives a lot of excuses.

She misdiagnosed my disease. Careless, lacks knowledge and experince but most importantly lacks empathy!

Dr. Lau was friendly and knowledgeable about a procedure that I was a bit anxious about. She has great bedside manners which made me confident and assured that I would be given great care. After my procedure, Dr. Lau gave clear results that were easy to understand.

I just had a colonoscopy preformed by Dr. Cynthia Lau at South Suburban Advocate Center. I found her professional, through, caring and compassionate. Her entire staff treated me like a friend and were very accommodating. This was the best experience, I have ever had having any procedure. This was my third colonoscopy; the first at this facility.

She is an excellent communicator, answering all my questions before and after the procedure (she met with me after the procedure to share the results).
