Dr. Cynthia Cernak, DPM

I am a retired, registered nurse....and I have neuropathy! I was always told that there was nothing that could be done to improve this condition. Luckily. I was referred to Dr. Cernak. She explained that her treatment consisted of Electrical Stimulation Therapy and Ultrasound. She found that this combination was successful about 75% of the time. I was scheduled for 12 treatments as well as a vitamin supplement to help with nerve regeneration. Her staff, including Maria and Bianca, were able to answer my questions as well as providing a relaxing environment. I have currently finished 10 of my treatments. The results are better than expected. My balance has improved with the decrease in numbness. My golf game is getting back to normal, now that I can feel my feet, again. No matter what you have been told about living with neuropathy, give Dr. Cernak a call. it is LIFE CHANGING!

Today I had my f/u visit with Dr. Cernak to review my doppler and ultrasound results. I wanted to write to comment on her patient care as it’s superb. She is the easiest doctor I have ever had! When Dr. Joel Weil referred me to her several years ago, I remember him saying, “I really think she will be able to help you”. Well he was right! The neuropathy and plantar fasciitis was treated and I have not suffered with either of them for several years now. She is the best! I couldn’t end this without mentioning her staff, Maria, Stephanie and Asha are always a pleasure!! Thank you Dr. Cernak for everything you have helped me with. Forever grateful!

I have been seeing Dr. Cernak for quite a few years now. I am always happy to see her because no matter what my issue is, she finds a solution. When Dr. Cernak entered the room, I knew immediately that she was a knowledgeable and skilled podiatrist. I appreciate her "no-nonsense," practical approach to fixing my feet and I especially appreciate her communication style: direct and thorough. If you are a female patient who prefers female doctors, she is a breath of fresh air. If you are a man who is hesitant about being treated by a female doctor, you have nothing to worry about. I wish she could be my primary care physician!

Dr. Cernak is AMAZING! Went to see her for a second opinion after 2 surgeries on 4th toe, left foot, was still in pain (the original pain!) after two years. I mean, how much drama can a smaller toe create?? 2 visits to Dr. Cernak, an MRI and follow up later, I feel I'm on my way to recovery. Research this lady on line (I did) her credentials, continuing education and accomplishments are impressive. Wish I'd found her first! Good diagnosis is the start of good care. Her staff is top notch too.
