We were looking for a primary care physician, and have lived in several different cities in the Midwest and the East coast. We found Dr Brownfield to be one of the best health care professionals we have encountered. She is knowledgeable, approachable, and we were impressed by her understanding and insight, as well as the efficiency and follow up with staff.

Physician of Excellence. She takes time to listen to patient concerns. Reviews best treatment options. Always available when needed. I would rate her as one of the very best. We are very lucky to have her. Her Office staff are excellent. A very professional Physician and staff. I am very lucky to be her patient. Rated at 5+.

She is very condescending and not interested in cultivating a partnership with the patient. If you want a doctor that is interested in your insights and patiently addresses your questions and concerns, find someone else. Her responses are very short and condescending. She is also unable to conceal her obvious judgement and assumptions regarding her patients personal life and played the game of blame the patient. She got the job done but it was not a pleasant experience.

Desperately needed a refill for colitis medicine called into pharmacy to stop a terrible flare. Instead of providing desperately needed medication I was informed I would need to come in for an office visit before receiving refill. There is no reason for an office visit. This is something I’ve had for a long time and they have had no specific information at the other visits. Now it’s Saturday and I am literally stuck at my house with frequent bloody stools and no medication to intervene.
