From the diagnosis of colon cancer through my surges, recovery and now my followup visits, Dr Corning has been outstanding! I always feel she has my best interest at heart and feel very comfortable in saying I would recommend her to anyone facing colon cancer.

- was never given the option of a female medical assistant (I’m female) for a procedure where I was naked from the waist down. - physician was unfamiliar with the equipment used during the procedure resulting in doubling of the time for the procedure - physician did not fully address my medical concerns nor did she ever share test results - follow up was with an equally inept nurse who failed to call in prescriptions or return pharmacist’s multiple phone calls. On the whole, a disorganized and flaky practice that was a horrific experience. I would never recommend this practice.

Maybe letting the patient / patients know before hand what is going to be happening and more specific about what is going to occur during their appointments, and maybe to shave beforehand .

Dr. Corning is the best. Her knowledge is unbelievable; and she is very thorough in explaining your condition and problem; and details the procedure and steps in your care. She is very personable, and makes sure to take time to see that you understand the process of treatment. I cannot say enough how secure and cared for with her and her staff.

Based on my experience, Dr Cybil Corning is an excellent surgeon and a thoughtful and caring physician. At our first appointment she described the proposed surgery in detail and outlined all the risks and benefits. I still have a great sketch that she made while explaining the process. She has an engaging and confident manner which put me at ease throughout the entire experience. My surgery took about three hours. After getting settled into my hospital room after surgery, I was soon up and walking short distances. Thankfully this was only a single night stay in the hospital and I was grateful to be able to rest at home so soon. My recovery has progressed right on track with the expectations set by her and her staff. My follow up appointments were very helpful and her NP Jennifer Ford was excellent. Based on how I feel today, five weeks post surgery, I'm confident that I'll return to my extreme hiking and cycling as before. I give her my highest recommendation possible.
