Doesn't care about his patients
I had a nerve test on my arms and the results said my nerves were good in my arms. Even though I wake up every morning with my hands going numb. Dr Phillips got agitated with me and said his front office was on the phone for four hours trying to find a doctor that takes soonercare for another patient. He didn't even try to make calls on my behalf. He doesn't care about his patients. I still suffer with my nerves so now I have the task of trying find a new doctor.

I am removing myself from a patient of Dr. Phillips after today. I had waited almost 2 weeks to get his office to send an order to the pharmacy for me. When trying to call and find out information regarding my order or whether it was sent, I was always told one lie after the other. His front office doesn’t give you their name when you call and speak to them, so none of them EVER take responsibility and accountability for what they have told someone. Once I finally got the order picked up and delivered to the pharmacy myself, I later found out my insurance was requiring a peer to peer review from the Dr. In order for me to get my needed medical equipment. Dr. Phillips was the one who wrote the order for my sleep study and for the equipment the INTERPRETING physician advised of. However, my insurance needed the note from the ordering Dr (literally was informed by my insurance that he only had to send them an email stating I required the equipment!) but Dr. Phillips would not do so. Therefore I was left searching for a new Dr. That would reorder my needed equipment so they can send the email. At one point during all of this mess, his front office staff once hung up on me and another time huffed at me on the other end of the phone when I informed them of what I needed from them since Dr. Phillips would not send the email. Just a word of advice for anyone from his office that hopefully sees this, when you work in patient care, the patient’s health and your customer service should be you’re number one priority. A patient shouldn’t have to be chasing down the orders they need or finding new doctors just because Your office doesn’t want to do the work. I know Dr. Phillips works 1 million different places, but maybe if you can’t take care of your patients at your own personal practice, you need to slow down on taking on other jobs. It’s not just about the money, It’s about the patient and making sure they are taken care of. But, it’s been Made very clear that Dr. Phillips office likes to ask for additional labs or work that can be charged to insurance when it’s not needed. That’s a whole other review I can leave later.

Dr. Philips didn’t spend more then 5 minutes with me. Sent me home paperwork that clearly stated to seek immediate medical care for the exact reasons I was there!

I would recommend him very highly.. This is due to the care my mother received from him, my son, and myself. He cares about people and it shows. Bedside manners are excellent..
