Dr. Curtis Bernsley, MD

Dr B no longer sees patients at the nursing home where my friend (who is a paraplegic) resides, however, he continues to keep my friend as a patient. Dr B makes a special trip to see him once a month or more if needed. Dr B does this out of the goodness of his heart because he knows how difficult it is for this man to go outside of the facility to go see a doctor. Also, prior to Dr B seeing my friend, my friend was being sent to the hospital constantly because of problems with his catheter. Since Dr B has been involved, he hasn't gone to the hospital in well over a year. On one occasion, I texted Dr B because my friend was having pain. Dr B was on the highway returning from a trip and he went directly from the airport to the nursing home to help my friend. He is truly a great doctor and a nice, caring person who truly wants to help people.

I tried to schedule an appointment as a previous patient and was informed that Dr. Bernsley is not accepting new patients. I must be out of the warranty time!

As Dr Bernsley is a great doctor but as he did not have any openings , I was seen by his PA . She ordered a urine culture and said she will call me back promptly with the result . As I did not get a call back, I called the office and they indicated that they do not have the results yet . I received a call later that the office misplaced the sample and never send it out and my only alternative is to come back and actually indicated that " they will not try to loose it this time" Disappointed.
