Study Result Narrative & Impression PROCEDURE: CT HEAD WITHOUT CONTRAST CLINICAL HISTORY: Memory loss TECHNIQUE: Thin slice axial CT acquisition of the head without intravenous contrast. The data set was reformatted in coronal and sagittal projections. DOSE: The total CTDIvol was 62.4 mGy and the total DLP was 1119.5 mGy-cm. All CT scans are performed using dose optimization techniques as appropriate including estimated exposure control, adjustment to the mA and or kV according to patient size, and use of iterative reconstructed technique. COMPARISON: None FINDINGS: Intraparenchymal hemorrhage: None. Extra-axial hemorrhage/fluid: None. Ventricles and sulci: Diffuse involutional changes present. No hydrocephalus noted. Shift of midline structures/mass effect: None. Acute/chronic parenchymal injury: Periventricular low-attenuation consistent with ischemic white matter changes and/or leukoencephalopathy present.
