Disrespectful and Dismissive
Saw Dr Cama with my father due to my father’s frequent and excessive nighttime urination. Dad has Parkinson’s, which is probably the cause. Dr Cama was useless in comforting my 80 year old mother who gets up multiple times a night to either help Dad or change the bedding. All he said was how good is was that he was urinating and had no solution to help with their issue. He dismissed our concerns and when he realized we were upset, he was he immediately got up and said “I’ll get you a second opinion, I have to go to the hospital” and he left. ZERO bedside manner. He was in the room less than 5 mins! Apparently we wasted his time. If you don’t like what he says or try to ask questions about another solution he ignores you. I know there’s a shortage of urologists but please go to anyone else but him. Dismissive, disrespectful, uncaring. If he’d presented the results differently to us then maybe I wouldn’t be here but I can’t in good conscience recommend anything about this man.

Waste of time
I brought my grandmother to see Dr. Cama after she's been battling a bladder infection. An infection that's been going on for over a year! An infection that her current doctor (Dr. Cassisi) keeps throwing antibiotics at, but nothing ever changes. They've been treating her for this entire duration, a year. Dr. Cama said he would not take over for Dr. Cassisi. He suggested we go back and follow his offices guidance. Dr. Cama also stated he was our 3rd opinion because he had records showing she had seen his colleague years ago regarding a bladder infection. This is laughable, one infection is not the same as another, especially one that occurred years ago. If you're looking for a doctor to blow you off, he's your doc. To be fair, he did suggest a hormonal cream that may be beneficial, something we'd have to ask her current doctor about. But other than that, it was a complete waste of our time and his too, apparently.

Kidney stone
Wait time acceptable. Office staff friendly. Dr Cama explained everything. Only complaint. I had to call three days after my appt to find out what was going to happen next. Found I had been scheduled for a procedure and was finally told results of tests. If I had not called o wonder when I would have been notified. Otherwise will hold opinion of final until after surgery

Dr. Cama seems to be a good doctor, but his admin is so bad that I am seeking another Urologist. It took two months to make an appt. They called me one day before my appt 2 weeks ago and said they had to postpone it. When I went to my 1:15 appt yesterday, I finally had to leave at 2:30, not because I was inpatient, but because I could not believe how they treat people. The office is closed between 12 and 1. Everyone came back at 1, including the doctor. Apparently, they booked appts for 1:00, 1:05, 1:10 and 1:15. This is SO disrespectful to patients that I just can't go to a doctor's office where people do not believe in the Golden Rule.

receptionist hung up on me twice. Dr. cama told me within 5 minutes of meeting him to get a second opinion, and that he would refer me to someone else, which was alarming. after waiting almost a month for the appointment, I had no more information than i came in with and left with $35 less. basically paid for a referral to another urologist. additionally, he was wearing his mask incorrectly during covid.

Dr. Cama is a decent doctor, but his bedside manner leaves much to be desired, and his office is absolutely atrocious. It took 4 weeks to get him on the phone to discuss options for bladder cancer, and when I did, he was rude and unhelpful, ending the phone call with the phrase "You know what your options are, there are other Urologists out there". Hearing this comforting advice is dependent on getting past his pair of "receptionists", who really are just there to practice hanging up on people. I have had several dealings with doctors in the past, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Stay away.
