Not your "Usual" Doctor
To put it plainly, Dr. Enescu is not your typical doctor. If you're just looking for for a doctor who will prescribe medications and send you on your way he's probably not right for you. But if you see thru the endless bombardment of big pharma commercials and advertising, and would rather talk to a knowledgeable doctor who will prescribe those meds, if you want them, but would rather give you alternatives depending on your age and overall health, I highly recommend him. Concerning masks, he will wear one if you prefer, but you are not required to wear one. It is refreshing to go to a doctor who follows protocol but is not brainwashed by the CDC and their ever changing positions.

Doctor Cristian Enescu Tom's River conducted exam without a mask and persistretly coughed in a tiny exam room. He questioned why we wore a mask and said vaccines dont work. Both my spouse and I are in our 70s. Next day secretary advised he was "sick" And canceled a followup. She confirmed covid only AFTER I asked directly if he had covid.. I worried I would get sick too. He shouldn't have conducted an exam while actively coughing and then deliberately neglect to say it was covid. Enescu and the entire office had Covid and office closed for only a week. Office never sent my records that were requested twice. He recommended a homemade .alcoholic. remedy. which seemed drastic. I stopped using him. MAY 2020

Compassion & Caring
I have been a patient of Dr. Enescu for several years. I was impressed with his bedside manner, one of true concern & understanding. I met with Dr. Enescu & he guided me toward healing. I was impressed that he didn't recommend prescription drugs, rather he recommended natural remedies/supplements and vitamins that truly worked. Being the caregiver for both of my parents was a stressful chapter in my life. Dr. Enescu knew both of my parents and was able to speak with me about how to cope with my reality. Recommended testing is done in his office so you don't have to run to other offices. There are doctors and there are healers. Dr. Enescu truly is a healer, a unique man that treats all aspects of you as a person, not just another patient. His office staff, Mary & Roseanne welcome you when you enter the office. They represent Colts Neck Neurology in a manner that's obvious they truly love their jobs. I'm thankful that Dr. Enescu is my doctor, a healer, and a friend.

Kind and caring
Dr. Enescu took a significant amount of time with my 93-year-old mother, who had been suffering with night terrors and other sad characteristics of aging. He treated her compassionately, and prescribed a course of medicine in a gradual and effective way. As a result, my mother’s condition has improved and she has had more peaceful days. We are so grateful to Dr. Enescu for his capable and thoughtful care for a vulnerable elderly person. He’s an excellent doctor.

Dr. Enescu is a good doctor in some ways, but bad in others. He lied that he treats PANDAS, which he doesn't. Bonnet and Schulman does. He also didn't do a single analysis. But the benefit is he prescribed amino acid pills which sort of helps. He is also a great person. The heat of the moment with this guy was when my Mom argued with him for 6 months that he didn't sent out the bill.

I knew he was "present". He seemed to understand where i was going before i got the chance to get there. But he didn't assume anything. He allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings. There is no "one size fits all" with Dr, Enescu. I felt that his treatment for me was (is) individualized. He is more than a "doctor". He is a "healer".

He is much more than a neurologist. He offers integrative neurology in a way that looks at the whole person on many levels. I have made great improvements with my parkinsons in the few months he has been my doctor. I highly recommend his way of treating neurological conditions. I am so grateful I found him!
