He explained things no doctor had ever explained. He listened and answered every question patiently and knowledgeably. He addressed an issue that had been bothering me, hyperkalemia, which I had read is a side effect of ACE medications for patients like I with kidney desease. He quoted the research statistics in answering my questions showing he is on top of his field. His certification in Echo-cardiology as well as four other areas of cardiology puts him way above the run of cardiologists. He is the first cardiologist I have heard to recommend a plant based diet, a diet that made Dr. Dean Ornish famous for reversing heart desease and which I had been considering, not just for my heart, but my kidneys. I had had a hard time finding a cardiologist comparable to mine in Miami since I moved here. No more worries. He is better.

Fantastic bedside manner and very knowledgeable. My wife has had Cardiac issues for a few years and within six months Dr. Del Carpio has helped my wife more than any other doctors have been able to.

I had my first visit with Dr Del Carpio today and I was very impressed. He is so down to earth and easy to talk to. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He explained everything he was ordering and why it was being ordered. I can’t say enough great things about him.
