Dr. Craig Ruetzel, MD

Friendly staff, no horrible wait time and Dr. Ruetzel made me feel very comfortable! I feel like I’m in the right place. Not to mention he was voted best in his practice in 2021!

Horrible birthing experience particularly due to his actions. Otherwise, he’s alright. He’s fine to talk to, but I wouldn’t recommend him as a doctor.

I would NOT recommend for GYN issues. He appears to do better with Obstetrics. He misdiagnosed me. Told me I was "a mess inside and a liability". Told me I had vaginal thinning and it is normal. Told me my vaginal cuff was damaged and it is normal. Told me incorrect information about my past and insisted that the previous doctor there did my hysterectomy- but he found out he was wrong after he got up and left the exam room to look at my chart again. His staff is very nice though.

So I have to give back story for anyone to truly understand how amazing & a blessing Dr. Ruetzel is... I was all alone & having a rough 1st time pregnancy (husband tied up in immigration on other side of the world). I was desperate to find a new Doctor at 7 months pregnant. No one would help me. Dr. Ruetzel personally called me back within 30 minutes of leaving a message with the delightful secretary. He had me come in the next day! I told him my situation & I felt his whole team take me as fam

I was charged a Copay for 8 months of my pregnancy and once I switched provides for the last couple of weeks of pregnancy I came to find out that I had $0 Copay. I was as well due for a glucose test but had family in town from out of state. I rescheduled for three weeks later and I was told pretty much that I was irresponsible because the glucose test has to be within a certain time frame. I was not aware and nor did anyone discuss the importance with me of this testing.

I have been seeing Dr. Ruetzel for a few months for my pregnancy! He has always been very professional and made me feel very comfortable at appointments! He never makes me feel rushed when i ask a ton of questions! I was worried when I as spotting one weekend and he gave me his cell # and told me to check in with him! I feel in great hands with him delivering my baby! I recommend him to all of my friends!

My experience with Dr. Ruetzel at first was great and I thought that I was at the right place. I then went in for a follow up and was treated really poorly. First off his first thing he says to me is "What are you doing here?" not Hi How are you? and then he did my follow up in the hallway yes the hallway and in a rush. I was suppose to come back and after some consideration I decided that I do not have to be treated that way and am searching for a new doctor who may actually say Hi to me.

Doctor was great, he is friendly and makes you feel comfortable before starting the exam. He introduced himself and then asks patient to give him background for better understanding. I LOVED THE FACT THAT IN THE EXAM ROOM... THEY PROVIDED YOU WITH A WARM, COZY BLANKET WHILE WAITING!!! KUDOS!!!.

Dr. Ruetzel took over my retiring doctor's practice. I was a bit nervous about the appointment, but everyone was very kind, and Dr. Ruetzel was wonderful. He took time to talk about my issues, was very personable, and by the end of the appointment, I knew that I had the right doctor.

This man is Absolutely amazing.

He seemed very caring, patient and compassionate. Listened to me and didn't rush me through like other doctors have done in the past. Glad i went and would recommend him highly.

The staff at this office are absolutely amazing. Dr. Ruetzel is extremely competent,kind,caring,and knowledgeable. I felt completely at ease with Dr. Ruetzel. He spend time getting to know me and my medical history. I highly recommend Dr. Ruetzel to any patient looking for an excellent obstetrician/gynecologist.
