Terrific experience
Dr. McHood saw me when I was ill and my regular doctor was not in the office. His staff were terrific and Dr. McHood was easy to talk to and caring. I had been sick for some time when I saw him and he scheduled a respiratory test for me. Afterward, he followed up with a phone call to see how I was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Our family loved Dr. McHood! He was knowledgeable and was open and honest. He always had a smile to make you feel at ease no matter the situation. He listened to complaints both real and imagined professionally. We were sad to move away from such a great doctor! Would definitely recommend.

I came down with a mysterious illness and saw him repeatedly trying to get answers. This genius' advice to me was essentially to eat fistfuls of Tylenol and ibuprofen and to drink 3 gallons of water a day (and to get psychiatric help). One of his colleagues correctly diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease after months of his negligence.

I have been seeing him for about two years now and I would not change my doctor unless he retires! He has helped me quit smoking and stayed that way and has addressed many other issues that were serious in my mind (because I am just that way) and reassured me everything is good. He doesn't sugar coat things to me and I love that. And his bedside manner is amazing.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. McHood?
Dr LaHood was available to see me on short notice because my regular physician was not available. He was very thorough in going through my health record as well as treating my persistent cough problem and discussing in detail his recommendations. He explained some of the former test to me from my health record and wrote in his summary on how I could be proactive in mitigating some of my health issues. I was very satisfied with his professional advice and medical competence.

Instead of concentrating on my past and current health issues at hand, McHood tends to crack jokes and avoid the assistance I seek from him. His behavior frustrates me and makes me feel uneasy. During my last visit I discovered he, and his office, had neglected to process and analyze lab results altogether - now I'm back to square one, seeking new health information and a new physician.
