A very caring doctor. I visited the doctor to talk about a colonoscopy. I am almost 85 Years old, the doctor told me that they generally don't do colonoscopies on people over 85 years of age. The doctor reviewed my blood test results and noted that I was anemic. He ordered a more detailed blood test and told me that my anemic condition was caused by chronic inflammation and referred me back to my Internist. I am thankful for the attention he paid to me.

I did an exam. It was impossible to even get the results faxed over my physician, as Margulies is not available for 7 weeks... Come on, how can you go to vacation and conference and again vacation for 7 weeks without informing the patient of the outcomes!?!?!? I've called 4 days in a row to ask to have the results faxed to my physician, but the employees are simply stupid or lazy.

I was convinced i would never have a colonoscopy, then I spoke with Dr Margulies. He explained the risks and benefits, he asked me about my fears and reasons for not wanting to have one. He listened to my medical history and took the time to not only listen to me but to speak to me reasonably and to my understanding. He calmed my anxieties and I am scheduled for the procedure. He has a reassuring demeanor, was professional and most importantly I never felt rushed.

I am very grateful to the Dr. Margulies for his care and attention to me. Dr. Margulies listened carefully to all the things I wanted to tell, has appointed the necessary test and procedure, explained in detail the problems that emerged during the procedure and prescribed a treatment. I am also grateful to his assistants who helped him in carrying out the procedure in the Surgical Center at Princeton. I would recommend Dr. Margulies for his professionalism, knowledge, genuine care about patient.
