Dr. Craig Levoy, MD

Never had a visit. The practice scheduled my new patient appt FIVE MONTHS OUT. Ok, pretty unusual, but they said they'd waitlist me. Never got a call. Checked in this week for my appt next month (May 2022) and was told the good doctor is leaving the practice AND THE STATE. I asked gee, when were you going to tell me he's leaving, when I walked through the door on my appt day? Awful experience. Now I have to begin my search for a PCP all over again. Do not use Bayfront Health. I rate them incompetent.

He's the General who issues orders, and you're the Private who follows them without question. That authoritarian model of medicine went out of vogue decades ago.

Dr. Levoy is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. He genuinely cares about your overall well-being and educates you on your options of treatments. His main nurse is very nice as well but a bit slow with her part of things but as long as you request your medication refills about 7 days early it’s ok. His other nurse is also very good and quicker but I typically see the slower one when I go in, but she is nice and does well so it’s okay. One problem with the office is I can hear the other people in the next room talk. The walls are very thin, and if I was shy I don’t think I’d be comfortable but since I don’t have any serious issues I don’t mind. But they should get that fixed. Dr. Levoy will be my doctor until I die or he stops practicing.

I've been on the same meds for a while now. When I was getting low on my scripts his staff refused to refill them. Have an appointment to see the doctor this week but I am out of my life saving medication and I am afraid that I may become ill without them. There should be better communication, especially during a pandemic. This going without and new normal really sucks. Other that, Dr. Levoy is an excellent doctor. This is the 1st time I've ever had issue with him.

Dr Levoy was a warm friendly young doctor. He had familiarized himself with our history before seeing us and was interested in our well being. We are “snowbirds”, and now feel confident if an issue arises he will have our best interest in proper care. What a gift to the medical profession! Giving us piece of mind in this ever changing health care field. He impressed us with his knowledge and interest in our health! Keep it up Dr Levoy.

Dr. Levoy is the best. He listens to me and is very kind. I have been very happy with his care and staff. If you are looking for a great doc....Dr. Levoy is it!

Dr. Levoy is the kind of human being you wish every doctor would be. His warm, kind personality immediately makes you feel at ease in any health discussion you’re facing with him. His ability to make you feel as though you are not only his patient..but also his friend... makes him the type of doctor you look for all your life. My life in St. Petersburg has been, truly, made more positive and secure because I know that if my husband and I ever have a health concern, Dr. Levoy will always be only a phone call away with nothing but incredibly kind support and wisdom that is never wavering. He has helped us so many times with some worrisome situations and not only figured out the answer...but made us feel calm and secure. At 65 years old....I finally found the PCP I’ve wanted all my life.

My husband and I just signed up for him to be our primary doctor. At our first visit, he really impressed both of us. He is professional, friendly, laughs with us both. He has staffed his office with the best professionals we have worked with in a long time! We are both retired and, you can image how many professional people we have worked with. We walked out with orders for followup tests, the orders for our medications was handled before we left the office!

I cannot say enough about Dr Levoy. He is my children's physician as well--a true family medicine doctor. I trust his decisions. He is evidenced based and will show you literature on any subject if you're feeling unsure about vaccinations or you want more information on a disease process. Dr Levoy spends the time necessary for you. He has never made us feel rushed. I refer everyone I know directly to him.

Had my first visit with Dr Craig Levoy this week, and he was excellent! He and his nurse took a lot of time to get to know me and my medical history and current needs. They we very thorough, kind, and compassionate. Besides just prescribing me medications, the dr also recommended some exercises that could help with my condition so I could get better faster. I like that he gave me options, explained how medications worked, and included me in my own care.

A helpful and knowledgeable professional and a very kind person. Couldn't ask for a better Doctor!

Dr. Levoy is the best. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He always takes his time when explaining my treatment plan.
