Dr Kuhns’s has performed 2 separate Lumbar fusions on my back. Dr Kuhn’s is very professional and knowledgeable, and he explained both pre-op and post-op protocols very well. I felt very comfortable going into both of my surgeries. I’m 6 years post op from surgery #1 and 6 months post op from my second lumbar fusion. My activity level is completely normal with no pain. I highly recommend Dr Kuhns. I was very nervous going into this appointment but found Dr Kuhns to be compassionate, caring and a good listener. He addressed all my son’s and my concerns. He explained everything In great detail. We also liked that he is not jumping into surgery. He ordered an additional MRI and X rays; he is also contacting my oncologist before providing us with his plan. My son was very hesitant about me having surgery; but now we both have total trust in Dr Kuhns.

I had surgery in February with Dr. Kuhns. He cut me from my neck to the bottom of my spine. I have only had pain in one small area by my neck and it’s getting better. I would highly recommend him. I had back surgery 20 years ago in Illinois and the pain never went away from a failed back surgery! If you need surgery Dr. Kuhns is your man!!

Dr Kuhns is great! He thoroughly explained my MRI and X-rays to me in terms I could understand. I like the fact he takes a conservative approach and doesn’t just rush into surgery like some doctors I’ve encountered. When the time comes for me to have cervical spine surgery, I completely trust Dr Kuhns to operate on me. He was the top spine surgeon my PCP recommended.

I love Dr. Kuhns! He has performed several spinal surgeries for me. For my first neck surgery, he came to the hospital to check on me on New Years Day. He is super talented and an excellent surgeon in order to give the best results! You would not be disappointed!

I recently had my 9mo. post operative checkup with Dr. Kuhns. He and his staff are always friendly and helpful. I found Dr. Kuhns to do my surgeries when almost no one else could because of my scoliosis and degenerating discs and spines. His procedure helped me to stand straight up again having had bent posture for several years. The surgeries and recoveries were difficult but I came through, unfortunately my situation is I have still have pain, and he can't do anything else, I have to reconcile myself with that. Otherwise I think Dr. Kuhns can bring admirable experience and treatment for patients even with some extreme situations. I would recommend him and his office highly.

The entire office staff was great, very professional. Dr. Kuhns was fantastic. He took the time to go over each eray and explain everything in detail. He makes you feel very confident with him and his staff.
