A Stellar Cardiologist
Dr. Hjemdahl-Monsen is amazing. I was referred to him after experiencing symptoms of high blood pressure, and I've seen every six months since, to monitor my health. He is extremely compassionate, and respects my desire to remain medication free as long as possible. He offers support and advice, and takes the time to ask if I have questions as well as listen to any concerns I might have. I would recommend him without reservation.

The best Cardiologist. Period
Wish I could give 10 stars. Incredible Physician and incredible human being. He is caring, Brilliant, and top notch in every way. The best cardiologist in New York imo.

On July 13 I had a catherterization done at Lawerence hospital. From the moment I walked in everyone treated me with an smile and courtesy. I had never met Dr. Monsen prior to July 13 and I was very nervous. I did not know what to expect. Before the procedure he came to my bed and explained the entire procedure to me and my wife. We asked several questions and he answered them all in detail. The procedure was totally painless and Dr. Monsen keep asking me how I felt during the procedure.

Dr Monsen was amazing. At just 40 years old I was very very nervous when I found out that I needed a cardio cath. I arrived at Columbia in NYC at 9am and I was called back within minutes of my arrival. Dr Monsen took time to meet with me and clearly explain the plan. He put me at ease and I am forever grateful for the level of care and the fact that Dr Monsen did a great job calmimg me down. Dr Monsen was kind and caring and I felt as if I was speaking to a friend in the prep room. Thank You
