Dr. Craig Gillespie, MD

Dr. Gillespie and NP Lida Ward are great, but the people on the front are rude, specially that one who answer the phone all the time. She should not be working there, very frustrating to talk to somebody like her. Even the pharmacy that takes care of my prescription does not want to deal with them because they are rude.

Dr. Gillespie is abrupt, rude, abrasive, doesn’t listen to you when you describe your symptoms, and will shame you if you ask for an STD test. At any point he may cut you off from your medication until you schedule an appointment, almost like a membership fee. Sometimes there is no explanation at all. There’s no way to contact him directly. Nothing is digital. Staff doesn’t follow up with test results. Steer clear from this place if you value your health and sanity.

Dr. Gillespie has been my primary care physician for 23 years. He is very knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and attentive to his patients. At times he may run behind, but I have never felt rushed during my visits. The office staff is courteous and extremely helpful. The nursing staff and PA are fantastic.

If I could leave a worse review I would. By the time he actually saw me he was close to an hour behind schedule and then he didn’t even introduce himself or offer to shake my hand. He just started asking questions and very abruptly cut me off after I’d said a couple words. Then after about 5 minutes he put his hands up in the air and said I only had 10 minutes and I’d already shot that. So I’ll need to make other appointments to talk about the problems with my shoulder, back and knee. He told me each of those issues were separate appointments on their own. Dude was condescending throughout, rude and abrupt. His staff that handled the initial phone call was rude. My pharmacy had to request them to fax over a prescription for my elbow 3 separate times, I could hear the pharmacist arguing with his staff on the phone. I know he’s a popular person in his church so he gets a lot of referrals from there but from what I’ve gathered he either treats you well (church friends?) or like a dog.

He's an excellent doctor. Knows his stuff, and doesn't mess around getting to the cause of your troubles. Takes copious notes, while listening simultaneously. Wait times a bit inconsistent, but you won't find a better GP! Guy
