Top Notch Care
Dr. Batty has cared for me and my family members on multiple occasions. He is a very competent physician and understands the important nuance of care. As a physician myself, when I read the 1 star reviews left by other patients, it is clear that they do not understand how proper medical care is rendered and their reviews are improperly placed. Dr. Batty is kind, patient, understanding, and has the best interest of his patients at heart. He seeks to understand where you have been so he can take you to the best place possible in the future. I absolutely trust him with my life and that of my family.

Negligent care
My husband was on day two of fever, sore throat, and throat obstruction due to enlarged tonsils and Dr Batty refused to prescribe a steroid to help with the swelling - instead stated we needed to let the illness run its course. Three days later, my husband is being admitted to the hospital for tonsillar abscess. If Dr Batty had given us the correct medication before the illness progressed further, we may have avoided hospitalization and further complications.

Negligent
Took my two year old daughter in to instacare and unfortunately got Dr batty. He basically just said wait it out (she had a fever for 5 days already). He didn’t run tests or anything. 2 days later we went to a different PA who ran the proper tests and found out she had a blaring UTI. She has been suffering for longer than necessary because of Dr. Battys laziness.

Awful. He's working in the InstaCare and I go to him because I can't stand having a sinus infection any longer and he tells me that we have to treat it conservatively. I have been sick for almost 6 weeks and I have been taking care of it at home and it is obviously not working to treat it conservatively, which is why I went to the InstaCare in the first place. He would not listen at all. He just assumed that I would get a cdif infection from taking an antibiotic. I get two sinus infections a year and they have never gone away without an antibiotic. I just wasted my time and money with him. I called the after hours doctor at my primary care physician and they got me what I needed. Here's to feeling better within 24 hours and being ready for work on Monday.

He focused more on why I was on my medicines and why my other doctor prescribed them in the past. When those medicines are controlling me, than why I was there in the first place... I don’t feel good, I want my labs drawn, my doctor was in another town, I needed a new PCP and you are focused on things that are controlling me.. Don’t mess with that crap, I will go to my specialist when I have issues- that is what they are for.. Dealt with that crap since I was 12. Draw my labs, tell me why I am weak, why my muscles are cramping, why I am sleeping so much and why I am gaining weight!! Listen to me!!
